Blurb: Detective Josh Potter walks right into a trap of vicious, feral vampires. He never thought he would be rescued by a starved and weak omega werewolf, a man kept hidden away and used for pleasure and blood.

All he wants is to protect the gorgeous man, but Josh can’t find out where he came from. It doesn’t help that the omega is calling Josh “master.”

Cecil can only recall a life of servitude. He doesn’t know what freedom means because all he wants is to be with Josh. His yearning for Josh was so strong that he betrayed his former masters to save him, and Cecil wants the handsome human take him for a mate and claims him in every way possible. Cecil’s challenge, however, is to get his new master to accept that Cecil knows he’s in love, and that he isn’t allowing his years of servitude to cloud his judgment.

Review: This is book eleven in this series and they really need to be read in order. It keeps you from getting confused but also gives you an insight in to their world. I have always loved Marcy’s imagination. She gives you characters that you will fall in love with and a world you can lose yourself into. I love the fact that in these books the omega’s can get pregnant. Now that is a funny thing, a man getting pregnant.

Josh is a not only a detective but a human to boot. He is helping a rookie who is supposed to be checking out a vampire house that was supposedly cleaned out. What he had found were five rogue vampires and a very weak werewolf slave. He was also pregnant.

Cecil had always lived his life in servitude, more than likely born into it. He knows right when they met that Josh was his mate, but having never been anything more than a slave he did not know exactly what to do. Cecil does know that he wants him more than anything. He wants him to make him his mate. However, Josh did not know that many ways of the werewolves.

They had a hard start but things get to heating up every time they are in the room together. Like many relationships, there are some communication difficulties but once Josh realizes that when Cecil calls him master it means something totally different to Cecil. Josh had sold five years of his life to the vampires to pay for his college courses. He did not want to remember those times, but to help his mate heal he will do everything in his life to protect him and love him.

I love this series. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. It is an amazing book and I can guarantee that you will love it. If you love the paranormal world, werewolves, vampires, hot men, tender love, danger and excitement you will love this story.

Blurb: Hilarius “Hil,” a former vampire slave, is lonely for a mate. He thinks he’s found the perfect man in Ryland Hayes, a cute and sweet human, who takes an interest in him. When he discovers that Ryland is an assassin for the vampires, all bets are off.

As a vampire’s slave, Ryland doesn’t have a choice in the things he does, especially if he wants his father’s medical bills paid. He thought Hil was a normal, sexy as hell human. He had no idea Hil was an alpha wolf. Now, Ryland’s mission is to keep Hil alive, even if it means breaking his contract, and losing Hil’s love forever.

A pregnancy was the last thing that was supposed to happen. Though Ryland is sure Hil is only keeping him alive for the sake of the pup he carries, he can’t help the hunger he feels for Hil. Ryland yearns for the touch of his best friend and lover one more time.

Review: This is book ten in this series and they should be read in order. It makes it easier to keep the characters straight. I loved this series and this book is no different. Marcy always gives me characters that show their strengths and weaknesses. You cannot help but fall in love with them.

Ryland had sold twenty years of his life to the vampires to keep his father alive. He started out as a feeder and a sex slave, but when the vampires realized, they kept the werewolf hoping they would turned him into an assassin. It was not something he wanted to do, but he would do anything to save his father. What he had not expected was when he went after his target, the man he was talking to on the computer and the phone was also a werewolf.

At the time he went after the alpha, he had noticed the other man but not realized who it was. He had a hot date with Hil, and had not realized that Hil was the other werewolf that he had taken a shot at. It wasn’t until after sex when he couldn’t help but not only see Hil’s fangs and claws but that there was a knot connecting them both. He had ended it right then and there and kicked Hil out of his home, but not out of his heart. He couldn’t stop thinking about him. So when the vampires wanted the alpha killed he knew that he had to protect them.He would do anything to protect the man he had fallen in love with even if it had meant his life.

Hil realized that this was the assassin everyone was talking about, angry did not overcome the love he felt for Ryland. Nor the fact that his mate was pregnant with his pup. They had many differences to overcome but with the love these two men had, they could win this war.
I love a book that is not only paranormal but a romance story. When you add in danger that makes it even more exciting to read. I would recommend reading this book, because once you pick it up you won’t be able to put it down. It caught my attention from the very start and kept it all the way to the end. I cannot wait to read book eleven.
