Blurb: When Duncan of the Gents leaves for the Crusades, he promises to return to his friend and lover, Adam Gordon, but he never does. Three years later, upon learning that Duncan died in an ambush, Adam travels to Jerusalem to join the Cross Knights, seeking revenge.

Wyon Eastman, Captain of the Cross Knights, meets Caliph Omar on the battlefield and in peace parliaments. But discovering the cruel, heartless infidel is human forces Wyon to struggle with growing romantic feelings and religious loyalties.

As the English army sweeps across the Holy Land to conquer Jerusalem for the Christians, four men fight for true love in uncertain times.

A Timeless Dreams title: While reaction to same-sex relationships throughout time and across cultures has not always been positive, these stories celebrate M/M love in a manner that may address, minimize, or ignore historical stigma.

Review: Well, if this wasn’t a great and fun novella to read. The book tells us the tales of two different couples, set back in a time where Kings and Knights and Dragons and Crusades took place. We get to read the almost epic love story of a young servant with his noble master. We get to read the tale of their love, how it flourished, and how it nearly ended in the bloody battlefields of the desert of Jerusalem. We get to admire the single-minded determination of a young monk, going through thieves and criminals, and then through hundreds of Arabs in his quest for vengeance. And we get to lose ourselves in the intense emotions this book evokes in you. We get to feel the love-conquers-them-all deeply as we keep on reading till the very end.

I loved it; honestly, it was like going back and reading my childhood books. I loved the writing, and it didn’t matter to me one bit if some facts couldn’t have possibly happened back then. I loved the men here; Duncan and Adam were truly epic heroes, and they made my heart melt and my imagination scream wild. As for Wyon and the King, what can I say; they were exquisite. My only regret that they had such a short time in this tale. Yup, surprise-surprise, I wanted more.

Overall, this was a fantastic adventure I loved reading and if you like the genre, if you like the tales set in medieval times, I strongly recommend this one to you. Enjoy!

Review:  Short, Sexy and Steamy… my three favorite colors! Jacob Timber wants nothing more for his birthday than to meet the person behind the sultry, sexy voice he listens to via Indie music radio, Ethan Moore. He gets his wish.

The attraction is undeniable and the chemistry is immediate. These two are obviously true believers in love at first sight. When Ethan comes dangerously close to making a very bad decision, Jacob pulls away from him, moves out of the apartment they share and cuts off all contact. Two months later both men are absolutely miserable, but Jacob is resigned to his decision to end the relationship. Did he make the right choice? Did he really see what he thinks he did?

Like I previously stated, the chemistry between Ethan and Jacob was undeniable and the author did an excellent job of conveying that to the reader. Everything was so condensed though. I would love to read a full length novel that delved deeper into this storyline and the characters. Overall this was a fast fun read with some steamy guy on guy action and the perfect HEA!
