Blurb: Dalton Andrews has seen it all. After spending a little over ten years with the Denver PD, he’d had enough and joined Wildlife Services, not expecting it to be such an isolating career. When his job takes him on assignment to Crooked Bend, he jumps at the chance to work with actual people again when the town’s sheriff needs to hire a few more deputies. While at his new boss’ wedding reception, he unexpectedly meets a blue-eyed architect that makes his brain go fuzzy.

Collin McKenzie has trust issues. After countless bad experiences, culminating in spending over a year hidden in the closet by his ex, he decided enough was enough. He not only broke up with him, but he moved to a different state to start fresh. He loves working for the Welsh brothers and living in Wyoming puts him closer to his family. He’s sworn off men, but while attending a wedding, he sees a dark-haired man that makes him catch his breath.

After spending an unforgettable night together, Collin mistakenly lumps Dalton in with his past experiences. Things are awkward between them, but the attraction is there and undeniable, so they agree to give it a try. But when Collin’s ex finds him in Wyoming and won’t take no for an answer, Dalton steps up and claims what he wants, Collin. But will he be able to protect the man he’s quickly falling hard for? And will Collin ever trust him enough to let him in?

Protecting My Commitment is the first book in the Sulfur Springs series. This is a Men of Crooked Bend spin off, but it isn’t a requirement that you read that series to enjoy this one. Familiar faces will be seen, but this series takes you off of the ranch and into the lives of those in Sulfur Springs.

While each book focus’ on a different couple and may be read as a standalone, you will receive maximum enjoyment reading them in order. Each book contains sexually explicit material between two men and is intended for adults over 18.

Review: This is your typical boy meets boy, hooks up, has some problems, spends time working through said relationship and personal problems then things smooth out story. Dalton and Collin have many ups and downs on their way to finding meaning in their relationship. I have to admit I was expecting something to happen in regards to mystery, suspense or action as I had not read the blurb.

What I got was a lot of drama, sweet and sexy times and a lot of emotions from the characters. Not a bad thing if your into that sort of thing. I loved that Dalton and Collin eventually worked things out.

We are introduced to other characters as the story progressed along nicely at steady pace.

A good, decent story with plenty of romance and sweet moments for all by two sexy men who have the hots for each other. Very nice story.

Good read.

War’s Mate by Taylor Rylan

Genre: Paranormal

Length: Novel (192pgs)

Publisher: Taylor Rylan (3rd December 2017)

Blurb: Growing up in a coven with only one other shifter around doesn’t allow Arik much of an opportunity to find his mate, and he doesn’t know when or where he’ll find him. When dreams about his mate start interrupting his sleep, he’s content to wait for them to find each other. That is, until he dreams that his mate is in danger.

Alpha War has all but given up on ever finding his true mate. He’s looked for centuries, but so far, no luck. Then when his den starts being attacked by the local coven, all thoughts of finding his mate leave his mind. He only wants to protect his den members like any alpha would.

When an altercation with the coven turns deadly, the last thing War expects is for his mate to appear out of thin air, literally. Arik knew his mate was in trouble so he got his twin to teleport the two of them to the place he’d been dreaming about.
War is happy to have found his mate but can he accept a union with another coven? He already has enough witch problems; will a coven of warlocks be any different? But can he really say no to his fated mate? Is Arik willing to leave his peaceful coven for a den full of chaos?

With problems lurking, babies coming, and warlocks “poofing” in and out at odd times, will War and Arik ever find time alone for sexy times?

War’s Mate is 40,000 words and is book one in the Honey Creek Den Series. Each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, lots and lots of knotting during growly sexy times, babies, no cheating, and a HEA. These bears will do anything their mates ask, just read and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is meant to be read in order even though each book focuses on a different couple. This book is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get growly and don’t watch their language. .

Review: I loved War and Arik. War is the alpha and his mate Arik is a Siberian tiger with a warlock as a father. This is a good thing when the group has trouble with a woman who has powers that rival a witches.

Amid all the chaos that ensues Arik and War grow closer as the two defend their families and community the best they can. The reason for the woman’s chaos was emotional to say the least but to take her anger out on other sifters that did not do anything to her seemed a little much to me and I seriously thought she was nuts.

Great read.
