Blurb:The journey to become a better man isn’t easy, especially when there’s something worth fighting for.

Evan has been alone since Kaine’s death, moving from place to place, and for the most part, keeping to himself. He never expected to cross paths with Mason and Niall again. When he gets caught up in something bigger than himself, he is left injured, scared, and with nowhere else to turn.

Michael is like no wolf Evan has ever met before. Born a werewolf, Michael is stronger and faster, but has yet to truly tap into his abilities. Taken in by Mason and Niall, Michael struggles to come to terms with the horrific events in his past and the loss of his family. In Evan, Michael finds an unexpected focus. And despite warnings of Evan’s own dark past, Michael finds Evan to be someone worth fighting for, and someone who can help him understand exactly what he is capable of.

Review: This is book two in the Lone Wolves Trilogy and they should be read in order. Evan has been alone ever since Kaine’s death at Mason’s hands. He had promised Mason never to come near him or his mate Niall. However when he gets hurt by hunters, he finds himself in the territory. Neither man wants him there, however Michael does. Michael was a trueborn werewolf who can’t seem to deal with his abilities.

Michael is a born werewolf with amazing gifts, that is if he could ever figure them out. However, when Evan is brought home injured, he finds himself drawn to him. He wants him more than he knows or understands. Even when Evan tells him that he should not be near him because of his dark past, Michael tells him of his own dark past. They have a few things that they have to figure out. One of them is how they are to stay safe when all their wolves are out.

Now they have to overcome all their difficulties and anger with each other to actually be able to get alone. The sex between them is limited, but you can see that when they get around to play time that it will be hot, full of passion and might even tear the sheets up.

I had difficulties getting into this book. It seemed to me to be jumbled and a bit hard to follow. I understand the dangers they had but there were parts of the story that just left me with questions. It would be a cute story if I could actually get into it. I did enjoy the characters though. They have great promise and could be love if given the chance. I just wasn’t so sure about Michael’s problems, nor Evan’s difficulties getting over his past. I would need further research into this story, which of course means I need to read it a couple more times. I would recommend this story to those who love hot and sexy men, dangers all around, twist and turns in the story and the love one could feel coming from them.
