Work keeps CEO Alex Sterling from focusing on the fact he’s an alpha wolf alone, with no male omega mate by his side.

Jonah escaped an abusive pack that used omegas like sex slaves. He hides in his human form, lost in a sea of big-city humanity, but his wolf is restless.

When Alex discovers Jonah curled up helplessly around his jacket, he realizes Jonah is an omega in heat—and Alex’s mate. But Jonah’s deception is slowly destroying him. To save him, Alex must tenderly dismantle the walls around both their hearts. One painful brick at a time.

Review:  I started reading romance stories at the age of twelve and was always intrigued by the worlds that authors can come up with. Then a few years ago I read my first gay romance and I decided that there was just something about them that I liked more. I, like many, have favorites that we always follow and I am thinking that this author might be heading that way. There is just something about the world that she creates that kept me captivated throughout the whole entire book.  I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there.

Jonah was an omega wolf that had escaped from basically his cage.  It would seem omega wolves are just as cruel to each other as some alphas are to them.  He ran at such a young age and found a home to stay in.  He just wasn’t really cut out for the city and its smell.  However he loved working for his boss.  The problem was his boss was an alpha wolf shifter and Jonah managed to hide what he was.  However that all changed when Alex found him in heat.  Alex knew Jonah was his mate, but he hadn’t known that he was a wolf till the heat got too much for Jonah.  He just now had to figure out how to get Jonah to trust him.

To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me.  Now I have to admit that this story seemed to move around way too fast for me to keep up in some parts.  However I did enjoy reading it and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this amazing new series.
