Review: After surviving the harrowing events that took his brothers life Seth Tanner is on a mission to find the man responsible and do away with him once and fr all. His search for the killers next target leads him to Treddy’s bar where he meets cute bartender Sonny.

Sonny has secrets and a stalker ex. It is revealed who Sonny is after a hot encounter between Sonny and Seth. I found the local legends and stories about different haunts to be riveting and gruesome. The killer was gruesome and terrifying given his power and who his master was. The details surrounding events that took place are terrifying.

Seth is determined that history not repeat itself once again. I do not want to give away all the details but needless to say they were amazing. The only thing that bothered me was all the sex scenes as I was constantly being pulled out of the storyline to skip them. Other than that it was a spooky, haunting story that takes hold from beginning to end.

I have to wonder if this was the first book in a series because there was more than one disciple and the killings were ritualistic regarding blood from certain families. Not to mention how the story ends.

I do hope there are more as I would like to see the disciples pay for all the lives they took.
