Blurb: Kirk Anderson likes living alone in his mountain cabin, or so he tells himself. He’s a monster, after all. How would he ever find a man who can deal with his other self–the wolf?
When a reckless young hiker named Leo gets his leg caught in an old bear trap, Kirk rescues him, tracking him down by scent alone. While Kirk takes care of his injuries, Leo’s bright, sunny presence slowly wears down all Kirk’s defenses. Review: Leo gets his leg caught in an old bear trap while hiking. His rescuer is Kirk, a wolf shifter, who takes him to his cabin to recuperate. While Kirk fights his wolf instincts for his mate and to shift, Leo falls for him.
Loved the scenic views of the mountain and how Kirk tries to protect Leo from himself, as the full moon grows closer. Leo ends up following Kirk when leaves to shift and finds out what he is but doesn’t care.
Great read with some hot sex between Leo and Kirk. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
