Blurb: Wolfe has a century under his belt as an Alpha werewolf for a small outcast pack. He loves taking care of those who have been rejected by their birth packs or lost them in accidents or wars. But Wolfe is lonely, as he hasn’t yet found his mate to share his burdens of leadership or his passions in bed.

One night he catches an alluring scent and gives chase to a cute but surprisingly reluctant guy named Peter. Though smart, funny, and headstrong, Peter is a rabbit shifter. And wolves and bunnies don’t mix, do they? Their first encounter certainly suggests so. They seem to have nothing in common. Wolfe is a bounty hunter living on a knife-edge of danger while Peter shelters discarded and wounded animals, believing in peace and mercy.

For these two vastly different men learning to trust one another for a working relationship is a lesson in love.

Review: Susan Laine is another author that I have found to be a hit. I chose this book because the title intrigued me. Most times wolves eat bunnies and not in a good way. So when I saw this book I knew I had to get my hands on it. It was a fascinating tale about mates and how they don’t always just jump into a relationship, but proves that it takes a lot of work to make it.

Wolfe is the pack Alpha and has been doing a pretty good job at it. His pack is one that is unusual. Most packs are born into it. However, Wolfe’s pack is from all over. His father had been a pack Alpha and when the beta wanted to be Alpha he told Wolfe’s secret. After being forced to leave his pack, he had made the choice to start a pack of his own. So out one night, he smells the best scent. A scent that calls not only to him but also to his wolf. He has found his mate, and surprise his mate is a bunny shifter.

Peter is a bunny shifter and is afraid of his mate. Wolves eat bunnies, and in this case, he is right and wrong. He is about to get eaten but in a very good way. It takes some time to trust his mate and fall in love, but he wants to take his time. He wants to get to know his mate. However, his mate just wants to get to it. He has to stand up to him but his will power is not as strong as he wants, because he wants his mate also. And when they get together, it is like hot sex on a stick.

I had a blast reading this and hope that this is just a start to many more stories like this one. I loved it and look forward to reading more by Susan. The characters are well written and grab your attention from the start. You will fall in love with them and laugh at their antics. It gives you a strong Alpha wolf, a feisty bunny mate, excitement, a bit of temperaments and some hot sex.

It had caught my attention from the moment I started reading it and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me almost everything I could want in a story, although I wished for a bit of danger to be added, I was quite surprised by it.

I would recommend reading this amazing story and checking out the rest by Susan.
