“You don’t have to stay here with me,” Liam murmured.

Sean twisted the cap off Liam’s root beer and pressed the condensation-slick bottle to Liam’s hand until his slender fingers curled around it.

“I know,” he responded, studying a drop of moisture slipping off the bottle to make a damp trail along Liam’s hand.

“Guarding me?” After propping the bottle between his thighs, Liam licked the drop that had traveled to the pulsing blue vein of his wrist.

“I can be around you without being part of your protective detail.” Sean swallowed past his suddenly parched throat. The man had no idea how seductive his innocent movements were.

Liam reached out until his hand was on Sean’s thigh. “Just giving you a hard time.”

Review: Each book in Pack of Light collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. The book that we have waited for has finally arrived. When I heard about Liam I could not wait for his book to come out. Then there is Sean, who is Liam’s mate but doesn’t know it. The only thing he does know is he wants the little man.

Liam had been saved from the scientist but was coming to terms with the fact that not only was he blind now but he was going to die. They could not find the cure for what had happened. His twin and the doctor were the only ones that knew that not only was he dying but that Sean was his mate. He also knew that if he told Sean that he was his mate, he would do everything in his powers to save him and also mating him. Mating him would mean that Sean would die also. The love these two have is amazing and I wished I could find mine own mate.

Sean couldn’t smell Liam because of what the scientist had done to him, but he wanted him desperately. He was cursing fate that Liam was not his mate. Even his wolf knew the truth. Then when Liam let himself be captured once more by the scientist and evil alpha, he knew that they would find him. He left Sean a letter telling him about his illness and death sentence. Then he finds out that Liam knew they were mates. Could he overcome his feelings of being betrayed or would he loose the one man he loved. He needed his ass kicked and to get his head out of his ass.

I had a blast reading this story and look forward to the next book. It is amazing how much heart was put into this story. You can tell how much love these two men have for each other. How much Sean feels for him, even before he found out that they were mates. It caught my attention with the first paragraph and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more. I have always thought that when you give someone a paranormal romance that you need a certain amount of danger to offset the amount of sexual heat and the fact that they are always jumping in to their mating’s. Although in this story Liam kept his secret to save his mates life. So it was perfect in the amount of time before the actual mating took place. Even though it has a serious tone to it, there is the perfect amount of humor to it. I loved this book and look forward to the next book.

I would recommend reading this, especially if you love gorgeous men, sexy mates, excitement, suspense, hot sex and dangerous situations. Also crazy ass Alpha’s intent on an evil agenda.
