Blurb: Nate is the youngest of twelve, and the only one not yet mated. Being a member of one of the founding families of Itáyu Lake, he’s decided to inherit the Bloodline Legacy and remain on the lake alongside his best friend Jason as one of the two pillars of the barrier surrounding the land. He silently waits for the day his own mate will arrive.

Viktor arrives at Spirit Valley during his Wandering and instantly finds his mate, Nate, working in a bar. Nate is shocked to see that his destined mate is a rough biker bear, a combination of two things he’s feared since he was young. Viktor needs to help Nate through his own fears if he’s to make a life with his mate.

Matters are complicated further by the last remnants of Joseph Strand acting through his daughter, Jasmine. She plans to remove her family’s ties to the barrier, there’s just one problem, by doing so she’ll kill both Jason and Nate.

Review: Each book in the Itayu Lake collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

When Nate was a young child he had been abducted by bikers and when he escaped he was almost eaten by a bear. Now he feared both, so when his mate turned out to be not only a biker but a bear things are about to get dicey. Not to mention there were hunters coming for them and a crazy sister bent on messing with the barrier. Now is not the time to die.

Viktor is doing his wandering and finds his sexy little mate working in the bar. To his surprise and horror his little mate is scared of him. He needed to find a way to help him overcome his fears and show him that he will always be safe.

I just wished that there were more to read, I absolutely hate having to wait for the next story. I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story.
