Blurb: Everett Townsend hasn’t asked much from the other saved souls running the schools, or connected with most people there either… It might have something to do with his parents having sold his soul to Hell. Fed up with feeling like cannon fodder in a war he’s at the core of, Everett needs to take back some of the control that he seems to never have had in his life.

Geirfinn Lundberg follows his visions right to where his younger brother just ended up. But as glad as he is to catch up with Dag, it’s the man with the two different gray eyes that he can’t get off his mind—and promptly puts his foot in his mouth when they meet. Needless to say, Everett wants nothing to do with an ass like that, but he wants the training Geir offers.

And apparently he’s going to need it because the visions aren’t over.

Can he get past what Geir’s done to put distance between them and finally open his heart or will what’s to come be their undoing?

Review: Each book in Hounds of Hell collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Flynn can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Flynn.

There is something about the way that Flynn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives.

I had a blast reading this story. The only real problem I have is that it is not long enough. I want a book that will keep my attention for hours on end. This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break.

After reading this book, I realized that there was nothing missing from any of them. The mates, the ones that are to be protected are the children of the angels. They are confused, hurt and partially damaged from their past. They have trouble communicating and trusting those around them. Everett is one of those souls.

While trying to survive he had been a stripper, but many thought that meant whore. When Geir approached him, it set them back because he had been called whore. He explained it and Geir tried to fix it. However the communication between them was not very good. He had always thought his parents were evil and sold his soul for a fresh chance for them. Now his father was back, even in demon form trying to make amends. He had many things to figure out.

Geir had found his mate, but made the mistake of not telling Everett first off. The hell hounds seem to have that problem. They were over a thousand years old and had lots of trouble showing and talking about what they are feeling. He wanted to train his mate to be able to protect himself, but when he talked things just came out wrong. He had to find a way to fix what was wrong. T

hanks to one of the angels, he had a little bit of a head start. Now he just had to show him that he did indeed love him. He would also protect him from the dangers coming at them.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the others in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Flynn puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a lot of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
