Blurb: Jamie and Max are back. Now married to each other, they’re still the same guys they used to be: emotional, insecure, playful Jamie and quiet, strong, protective Max. There are some small issues in their relationship—such as how incredibly vulnerable Jamie is to any critical words from Max—and they do occasionally argue. But overall, things are going well.

Or at least, Max thinks they are. Until Jamie disappears without a word.

Certain the love of his life is dead, Max suffers the worst depression of his life, tormented by thoughts of Jamie’s suffering. And then Jamie reappears, uninjured and apparently perfectly whole. Can Max ever forgive him, even enough to find out why he disappeared, or is their relationship as dead as he thought Jamie was?

Review: And You Still Are is a sequel to You Were Always the One but it is fine as a standalone. I haven’t read the first and I followed the story just fine. This story is a continuation of Max and Jamie’s love. They have recently married and are head over heels in love with each other but, and this is a big but, they are two very opposite personalities.

I am a big character fan so I loved the detail of the characters. Max is police officer. He works long hours. He is more reserved and very masculine. Jamie on the other hand is the polar opposite. He is an artist, he throws himself into his work and sometimes gets so involved that he forgets to clean the house or have Max’s dinner ready. Jamie is a bright colourful character and with the cover and descriptions, I could just visualize this man as lovely, fun and flamboyant.

The story was a sweet romance about the ups and downs of marriage with a slight mysterious twist. It’s a cute, fun story, with a slight sad middle and a happy ending (for those of you that only buy happy ending stories).

I recommend this is you like sweet romance, committed lovers, off the page sex(very low heat but soft, sensual, and romantic) and a bit of a mysterious twist and of course happy endings.
