Blurb: The road to recovery is never easy, even when you’re just an innocent bystander to someone else’s addiction.

For Jack, it’s especially hard because he blames himself for his son Rick’s drug problems. It took Jack over half his life to admit to himself (and his wife) that he was gay, but years later, he still carries guilt over what his realization did to his son.

He never thought Rick’s treatment would help him rehabilitate too, but when Jack meets Seth, the man trying to help his son get back on his feet, it’s the breakthrough he never knew he needed.

Review: This is a new author for me but I have to tell you it was pretty damn good. It is very tenderhearted and might make you cry at some parts of it.

Jack had been married once and even had a son. He had tried to make it work, but he had one little problem, he was gay. He had come out and blamed himself for all of the trouble he had made.

One of those was the fact that his son Rick was a drug addict. So when his son went into treatment, he was surprised by the man who was helping his son. A man that he wanted. It would seem that Seth had the same idea.

I had a blast reading this and would definitely recommend it. It is not one of my normal types of stories that I would read, but the cover just pulled me in. Then I read the blurb and new I had to see if it was as good as it sounded. Let me tell you it was even better. I do wish that it had been longer though with so much more.

I loved it and look forward to seeing what other books this author has out.
