Jayden has done his best to forget the first part of his life, the part that happened before he arrived in Whitedell. He’s managed pretty well—he has friends, a job, and he even meets his mate. And who cares if said mate stays in his bear form even after Jayden stumbled on him in the woods surrounding the mansion?

Heath doesn’t know who he is or what happened to him. He can’t remember anything prior to meeting Jayden, and he longs to know his past. Luckily for him, his parents are looking for him, and it takes only a few days for them to meet.

Jayden and Heath have been doing well, slowly getting to know each other, but when Heath meets his family again, he discovers he already has a boyfriend. On top of that, Jayden’s brother suddenly resurfaces, and the mysterious hunters strike again.

Will Jayden lose Heath almost before even having him?

Review: Each book in the Whitedell Pride collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jayden had found his mate a few nights ago and had never told anyone. He would sneak out to see his bear. He didn’t know the reason his mate couldn’t change but he wanted to be near him. That is until Shad tried to sneak out himself, and Jayden feared for everyone’s safety.

Heath had no knowledge of who he was, where he was from or how long he had been in bear form. He feared the answers, but he knew he wanted his mate. There were many questions unanswered but they both wanted each other.

Then there is also Jayden’s little brother needing to be rescued and the hunters were back to their old tricks. The pride was in danger and they needed to watch out.

I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Catherine. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.
