Review: The blurb and cover for the book is what drew me in. I loved the differences between Mouse and Garron. Mouse is small and slender but not afraid to do what he must as a thief even it means killing someone. Garron in this story is the good guy, which I found intriguing as with most stories it’s the opposite way around.
There is plenty of action and adventure throughout, as well as a great mystery to unravel. I loved how the author blended all these elements beautifully to create a story that draws you in and doesn’t let go until the very end.
I think my favorite character was Mouse. He just drew my attention from the start. He struck me as someone who stuck to his guns once he set his mind to it. His being a thief didn’t bother me at all. It added appeal instead.
This is a great story that I highly recommend.
