Blurb: Crown Prince of the United Kingdom of America, William Samuel Davis, has recently been outed by the press. Worse yet, he’s been thrown into an arranged marriage with one of the stuffiest people he knows—one Lucas O’Malley-Hamilton. It’s a match made in hell, and William fully intends to make everyone see the error of their ways and send Lucas back home on the first available flight.

But things quickly get more complicated than William had thought possible as the Anti-Monarchy crowd uses his outing against him. As he is forced to face the realities of his position, he finds himself drawn to sides of Lucas he hadn’t known existed. Tensions rise throughout the country and in William’s world. While the situation absolutely refuses to improve, it can and will get worse.

Review: This was a pretty good book but it was way too long for my liking. It seemed to be extensive, drawn out and very descriptive. Even with all that, I found myself captivated with the story. I just needed to know what would happen with them both. Although I never thought we had royalty in the United States, it was very well written and a good story. It did have its humorous moments, which made the story even better for me. I can’t stand a story that if it is going to be drawn out, to be in a one toned way.

This particular book just seemed to flow off the pages. I love the way the characters come off, you can tell that there was a lot of feelings put into this story. I must admit though that I would have beaten the tar out of William. He just comes off as all high and mighty.

William was a well-known prince who just happened to come out to the entire world before his parents found out. For the longest time his family had wanted a nice girl for him to marry, but since he opened his mouth, they were planning on marrying him off to a man he had no clue about. He wasn’t too sure what to expect, but it sure wasn’t Lucas. He was finding that he was having a blast spending time with the sexy man.

Lucas had only agreed to go along with the wedding because of duty. It didn’t hurt that William turned him on, all the time. However, Lucas kept to his ways, no sex till after they were married. The problem was he knew in reality that William didn’t want to get married. He felt that this pressure was going to destroy them before the ones who wanted them dead would.

This was a good story but like I pointed out earlier, it was very drawn out. It kept my attention because I really wanted to know what happens to them both. Some parts of it just seem too farfetched for me, but it was well written and the plot was amazing. I would have never thought that parents would switch goals in stride but Williams family did that. I would love to check out the rest of this amazing author’s books.

I would recommend reading this book especially if you love sexy men, royalty, quirky friends, laugh a minute family, dangers, excitement, and suspense. I would also say the sex, when they finally got to it was hot. The buildup was explosive. I can see why they had to take cold showers every night.
