Blurb: Colton has been fighting for nearly a year not to become Master of the vampire coven. When a capture warrant brings him to Black Dragon, he has no choice but to face the Veneto triplets. Colton is split between his allegiance to his pack and his responsibilities to the coven he left leaderless after killing Magnus. When Matt basically disowns Colton, he has no choice but to turn to the coven he’s loathed for so long. But the brothers aren’t fighting fair, and when they claim Colton as their mate, his loyalties are torn.

Lucian, Corbin, and Antonio have been trying to lure Colton to the coven, but their efforts have been fruitless until Colton shows up with a capture warrant. They finally have their wolf where he belongs, but can they keep Colton at their side, or will he rejoin his pack to hunt down the creatures from the veil that have been set loose in Mercury?

Review: Each Book in the Mercury Rising collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading them in sequential order. Although with this story your looking at four men mating.

Colton hated vampires and now he was their leader. Here he was a wolf shifter in charge of a coven that killed his little brother. To top it off he had not one, not two but three mates. Triplets that were all vampires.

I like Colton from the previous stories however I didn’t care for this story. It was harder to get into for one and then there was the fact that he was turned into a vampire without permission. The story was not as engaging as most of this author’s work has been. I just couldn’t get my head into it. I am not a fan of this many mates in one mating. It just comes off poorly to me. The story itself felt rushed and I didn’t care for the vampires at all.

I hate to say it but this story just didn’t draw me in as it should have and makes me want to stray from anymore of this series. However I have not left a series unread in awhile so we will see what the next one has going for it.
