Blurb: When James Brandon, writer for Paradigm Shifts magazine, is sent to Port Coquitlam, Canada to do a research article on a werewolf, he is eager to write yet another skeptical piece about the supernatural. After all, that’s what sharp-tongued James is known for— skepticism and disdain to boot.

But when he arrives in Canada, he realizes he’s going to be more than hunting a werewolf. He’s also going to be hunting the sexy innkeeper, Vincent Tyrone. James is turned on by the man’s strength and the fact that the man never lets his deafness get in the way of his dreams.

Soon, though, James’s life is turned upside down when he realizes that werewolves may exist after all—and that the man he’s now calling his lover may just be one of them.

Review: I would not say this story was a blast but it sure was exciting. I felt bad for James though, because of what brought him to this point in his life. He had lost the one person in his life that made it worth living, but every time he saw his ex-wife and her kids, it brought him pain. They were close to being best friends, but she knew that he didn’t stick around as much because of their daughter’s death. He was in a lot of pain because of it. Hooking up for one-night stands and drinking more than he should.

James has always gone to look for those who say that they saw werewolves, vampires, and ghost. He was a bit snarky because he had not believed. That is until he went to Alaska to talk to two people who said they saw a werewolf and even had pictures. Staying at the inn, he met the gorgeous innkeeper. Vincent was a sexy man who could not hear, but had great instincts. The problem was he was also the werewolf that he was looking for. Dumb ass didn’t take it too well. His heart was in jeopardy and he had to make a choice.

This was a cute little story but a bit sad in its own way. I would recommend reading this story. I can’t really go into it as much without giving it away and hope that I haven’t. It gave me a bit of the paranormal world, gorgeous men, a bit of trouble and danger, excitement and a happily ever after.
