Blurb: When James Brandon, writer for Paradigm Shifts magazine, is sent to Port Coquitlam, Canada to do a research article on a werewolf, he is eager to write yet another skeptical piece about the supernatural. After all, that’s what sharp-tongued James is known for— skepticism and disdain to boot.

But when he arrives in Canada, he realizes he’s going to be more than hunting a werewolf. He’s also going to be hunting the sexy innkeeper, Vincent Tyrone. James is turned on by the man’s strength and the fact that the man never lets his deafness get in the way of his dreams.

Soon, though, James’s life is turned upside down when he realizes that werewolves may exist after all—and that the man he’s now calling his lover may just be one of them.

Review: I would not say this story was a blast but it sure was exciting. I felt bad for James though, because of what brought him to this point in his life. He had lost the one person in his life that made it worth living, but every time he saw his ex-wife and her kids, it brought him pain. They were close to being best friends, but she knew that he didn’t stick around as much because of their daughter’s death. He was in a lot of pain because of it. Hooking up for one-night stands and drinking more than he should.

James has always gone to look for those who say that they saw werewolves, vampires, and ghost. He was a bit snarky because he had not believed. That is until he went to Alaska to talk to two people who said they saw a werewolf and even had pictures. Staying at the inn, he met the gorgeous innkeeper. Vincent was a sexy man who could not hear, but had great instincts. The problem was he was also the werewolf that he was looking for. Dumb ass didn’t take it too well. His heart was in jeopardy and he had to make a choice.

This was a cute little story but a bit sad in its own way. I would recommend reading this story. I can’t really go into it as much without giving it away and hope that I haven’t. It gave me a bit of the paranormal world, gorgeous men, a bit of trouble and danger, excitement and a happily ever after.

Review: This was a sweet story, but for me it just not only seemed rushed but also was too short for my liking. It was pretty good though. I wasn’t too sure what to think about it at first. Lorenzo was not only human but he had spent most of his adult time in New York. Always wanting to be in a small town, he had chosen Adams. It was cute and very much welcoming. A little to welcoming it would seem. The town was full of werewolves.

After wrecking his rental, he swore up and down he saw werewolves. So to his surprise everyone in Adams was a werewolf. Shocked to the core, he was still determined to stick around. It also might have something to do with a gorgeous werewolf that came off as kind of a jerk and didn’t want him around.

Rick knew he had been an ass but he had his reasons. One of them was fear. I found that this story has a great plot and story line however; it needed to be spread out a bit more with more detail to it. It should have made it a little bit harder for Lorenzo to get his head around werewolves and Rick needed to do more. I don’t really know how to say it. This story was just missing something important to me. Don’t get me wrong it was very good but for me it just seemed rushed.

I would recommend reading it especially if you love werewolves, feisty vets, stubborn men, a quirky old man and a bit of surprise and excitement.

Review: This was an amazing read. I was quite surprised with it. I think Penelope is going to be one of my top five favorite authors and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I loved Percy. He was a blast to read about. Percy couldn’t stand who his sister was marring. However, it soon came out that what he had it all wrong. He also was about to learn that werewolves were in fact real. Talk about a love interest gone totally batty. He leaves the wedding and finds a very sexy man who is a bit lost. It turns out that he is the best friend and bestman to the groom. One fascinating sexual experience leads Percy on a run.

Hunter knows that he has not only found his mate but their soon to be alpha. Damn was the boy young though. He tries his hardest to stay away from the chosen one, but Percy is a persistent bugger. Then Percy and his best friend are attacked and Hunter shifts and protects. Which of course is the introduction to the poor lad to werewolves. Talk about a freak out, you will be laughing your ass off and crying at the same time.

He is about to find out that the feelings he has are because they are mates. Hunter’s old alpha passed on, leaving Hunter with the pack that he is losing his mind over. Dividing times between pack and work is driving him nuts, but he wants Percy to grow a bit before telling him the truth. Things don’t work out the way he planned it. Percy is more forceful than most.

This story was a blast to read and I absolutely loved it. I loved the characters, the way they just mix and are so full of passion. It has a serious tone to it but there is just a hint of humor in it that made it so much better to me.

I would recommend reading this amazing story. Especially if you love two very sexy men, werewolves, excitement, adventure, action and lots of danger. Not to mention the hot sex going on.

Blurb:Felix the vampire has wanted to give Julian a bite for years—a love bite, that is. When the unknowing Julian sets out to find a mate, Felix is horrified. He decides to give Julian a lusty experience that will change his mind for good.

Felix was a vampire and had been for almost as long as he could remember. That is something that most people don’t know about immortality; there comes a point when the first twenty-five years of mortal life feels like nothing more than a dream. Felix, who was over three hundred years old and had stopped counting, was at that point. Once upon a time, he had been the son of an archduke in England. Once upon a time, he had been a mortal.

But that was a lifetime—or more rather three or four—ago

Review:   Felix is Julian’s Secretary and has been in love with him for years, hundreds of them. Julian is leader of the Coven, a parliament meeting and is told to find a mate and to fire Felix. What will Felix do?

This is a very short story. It had great premise with the dilemma to find a mate a fire Felix. The wild sex that ensues is powerful and hot and I liked that it was very super human not soft and sweet .I also liked some of the humorous cliché sayings. The new world they built fascinated me but we just didn’t get any real details on that either. The only thing that bothered me was it ended without letting us know what happens with parliament, or a real ending of any kind.

I recommend this if you like other worlds, vampires, friends to lovers, politics, and rough a rugged hot managed.
