Review: Alex has given another amazing Corey Shaw Mystery. I am absolutely in love with Corey. Although I must admit there is some part of me that would not mind smacking him also. This has such a serious tone to it but you can tell that there is just a hint of humor and for me that makes it even better then the average mystery.

I was never one to get into a mystery, give me a good romance any day, but Corey Shaw Mysteries are some of the best ones I have read. The characters are almost perfect and the plots that Alex comes up with are a blessing. I love the fact that Corey and the others have different types of abilities such as telekinesis, Telepathy, and Teleportation.

Corey was going on a cruise with his family. Talk about a pain worse than death. Things started happening and he was getting the scenes in his head. A bombing in London, starts his path down a can’t deny. There was one beautiful sight on this trip. Raul was one of the dancers on the cruise. A gorgeous man who seemed to have more hidden then Corey first thought. He knows that the terrorist on board of the ship. He must protect his family and the man that he is slowly falling for.

I loved the twist that this story gave me. I loved it so much and the fact that the one behind the whole thing was such a surprise made it even better. Usually when I read one I can tell you who the killer is before the ending but this one I had to wait to find out. I mean I was sitting on the edge of my seat and biting my lip waiting for the next chapter. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a story. I loved it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

I would recommend reading this book especially if you love a good mystery. This book gives you a sexy man with some great powers, twist and turns, excitement, adventure, action and suspense. Trust me this is an amazing book that you will fall in love with.

Review: I always enjoyed the game of baseball because of the tight pants, but I never really thought about all the kinky things one can do with the baseball equipment itself! After reading this hot, edgy, suspenseful book I will never look at baseball bats, both wood and aluminum, and baseball cleats the same way ever again!!!!!

The characters are thrilling, the psychopath fan/stalker gave me the creeps, and nightmares to come and the hot Dom/SWAT commander gave me chills in a good way! It’s a novella and the plot has to move along at a fast clip, even so, it packs a punch, or should I say a kick in the balls! The BDSM scenes are very gritty, involving bat and ball torture (pun intended) and made my skin crawl, but in a hot kinky way!

I want to see more of Jase and Cap, they make a hot couple. Just imagining the heavily muscled, professional baseball player bound on his knees by his own equipment, for my reading pleasure gets my blood boiling. It’s a fun, hot, suspenseful read. I recommend for fans of BDSM.

Blurb: Corey Shaw is torn between a vacation with his family, his burgeoning attraction to handsome dancer, Raul and solving the mystery behind a series of explosions that follow the ship from London across the Baltic Sea. Can he protect the ones he loves and identify the terrorist before an even greater tragedy occurs?

Paranormal sleuth Corey Shaw is enjoying vacation with his family in the Baltic Sea when terrorists bomb restaurants hosting World Cup parties in London and Copenhagen. On each occasion the explosion coincides with the cruise ship leaving port. Although the United States isn’t attacked directly, Corey and his colleagues are unavoidably drawn into the investigation with or without the blessing of international intelligence agencies. When a third bomb goes off in St. Petersburg, Russia, Corey is convinced the answer lies aboard his ship.

He must use all his psionic abilities to protect his family, and his friends, and keep the world safe from this worrying upsurge in international terrorism.

Review: Ah, I love mysteries and this one was no different, a pure joy to read.  Corey is on vacation cruise with his family for his mother’s birthday but as the ship pulls away from the docks he has a vision of an explosion and so begins a mystery that follows him across the sea.

This is a well written storyline with a good plot that doesn’t keep you hanging for too long. Corey is still suffering mentally from what happened to him in Murder at the Green Lantern and decides to just go with it on this vacation.   With the encouragement of his sisters he hooks up with dancer Raul while trying to help solve the mystery of who the terrorists are.

I really liked Corey in this story and I will hold my hands up and admit that I didn’t read Murder at the Green Lantern because I didn’t like Corey in Breathless but now I have to go and read it… gggrrr. I have to say that it was great to see Corey with his family and his romance with Raul was hot.   The mystery was good and although I did guess who the bomber was, I really liked the twist that emerged.

So I would recommend this for those who love mystery, danger, hot sex and the paranormal but don’t expect everything to smell of roses.
