Blurb: Eric Pread broke up with his boyfriend a year ago, and has been apathetic about getting back out on the market. His friend Sabrina thinks he needs a nudge, and so she sends him a XP30 Sexbot to help him get back in the game.

Sloot is the XP30 assigned to Eric. He’s no ordinary android. His creator tinkered with him and gave him the ability to love. That isn’t anything Eric wants in a sexbot, and he almost sends Sloot back when he finds out.

But as time passes, they grow closer and closer and it becomes obvious that Sloot and Eric are two halves of a whole.

Review: Eric is having trouble moving on since his last relationship ended so his friends get him an android named Sloot. Eric however does not want to jump into bed right away he’d rather get to know Sloot first.

Sloot is a sex android. The surprising about him was that he has feelings and dreams of being with someone who will treat him right rather than use him like men have done in the past. I loved the interactions between these two. They were endearing and sweet yet thoughtful and considerate of one another.

I especially loved the way Eric protected Sloot. It was an awesome story that was well written with plenty of hot scenes and warm interactions to keep the reader interested.

I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.

Review: Hart Vanter spends his days working for his dad, and his nights bedding random woman in the hopes that no one will figure out his secret. He seems to have everyone fooled, including himself, but the facade is beginning to crack. When Josh Lang replaces his current bodyguard who got a promotion, the facade crumbles.

Josh is everything that Hart isn’t. Sexy, openly gay and self-assured. He sees something in Hart that he recognizes, a mutual attraction. Hart fights the attraction for about five minutes, then concedes to the urges and feelings he’s fought to keep hidden all his life. Josh proceeds to show Hart exactly what he’s been missing by denying himself all these years.

The storyline was predictable and there were some aspects to Hart and his inner conflict that should have been explored in a bit more detail. But overall, it was a fast, fun read with a lovely bedroom scene that made my lunch hour fly by!

Blurb: Sully Handover’s a pure-blooded vampire reluctantly groomed to be a courtesan to humans. He’s spent a lifetime believing humans are lesser beings, but when he’s chosen by the gorgeous and kind Master Adrian, he might have to rethink that theory. Especially since, he can’t stop secretly lusting after his new master.

Review: This story is had me going all excited and then simply deflate as it came near the end.

Eighty percent of the read was enticing and genuinely interesting, with vampires that even as they didn’t match my views on vampires, were still a new view and made me want to read them. Then suddenly it felt as if the author got tired of writing and hurriedly rushed through the sex scene, attaching an abrupt end too for good measure. It ruined it all for me just as I was thinking that this title – though short – was exciting in his depiction of vampires.

So let’s see. Vampires being groomed to serve human Masters? It makes you think the world went mad. It makes you think kinky stuff is in the menu. Don’t, no such things happens. In this weird world Vampires and Humans have an agreement. Humans provide women for breeding because Vampires are having trouble with that, and Vampires in return provide young males for sexual purposes, because once you’ve had a vampire, everything else pales.

Sully, though he has known his entire life that he was born to be sent as a courtesan, has been also in one huge freaking denial that comes to an end when he becomes of age. His anger though is great and when his turn to be paraded like livestock at the auction comes, he flat out threatens every human in the house that they are in danger of getting sucked dry if they pick him.

Interesting! My whole attention was in this read because come on, how can you not when a bloodthirsty vampire goes mad? Even better, he still is picked up and I’m thinking, “Yes, things are turning interesting” waiting for the explosion to come. Unfortunately, it never showed up. No big BOOM here, no sensual, erotic, passionate, mind-blowing vamp sex either. Yes, when Sully and Adrian came together could have been hot, if it wasn’t for the flash-like pace and insensible interaction that preceded them.

Also, the story completely loses its thread for a while. Sully has been in Adrian’s house for one night during the entire read, yet the afternoon of the next day, when Sully finally succumbs to his attraction for the human, Adrian admits that he went crazy all these past days waiting for Sully to love on him. Trust me, I went back and re-read the whole story. It was all in the matter of one day.

Anyway, while this read had potential, it ended up being yet another plot-less sex-scene with a back-story that would make no difference if it wasn’t even written in the first place, since the end was quite detached from the whole plot.
