Blurb: Milo has had enough. He’s always loved his job as a PA, at least until his old Boss, Noel, moved to Wyoming to be with his mate. Now Milo has been saddled with Baron MacDowell, shark lawyer and asshole extraordinaire, and he can’t take it anymore. He decides to call Noel to see if his old job is still available, and to his relief, it is. He didn’t expect it to come complete with a mate, though.

The warehouse where the council assassins live is on lockdown. Someone tried to kill one of them, and there’s a hit out on all their heads. It’s not the best moment for North to meet his mate, but there’s no way he’s rejecting Milo, not when he’s been jealous of Roark and Armand since they each found their better half.

Milo and North’s relationship is easy, and they both settle into it as naturally as breathing. There’s still someone trying to kill North and the other assassins, though. Between that, the news that North’s cousins are still alive after he thought they were dead for the past eighteen years, and Evan who’s behaving weirdly, Milo and North are going to have to learn to navigate their new life together—if they both survive, that is.

Review: Each book in the Council Assassins collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Milo loved his job or he did when he worked for Noel. Now not so much, and he knew he needed to get away. Oh the job was not dangerous just his boss was one of the biggest asshats ever created. A coworker and his bestfriend both said the same thing, call Noel and ask for help. He just had not expected to meet North.

North and the rest of the assassins had hits put out on them and they were all grounded. So when Noel had a problem, North jumped at the chance to go along. He had not expected to find his mate. However they had someone giving out their location to the killer, so protection just went up.

I have always loved this authors work and can honestly admit that she never fails to deliver. I love the unique type of shifters and paranormal’s in her books. While the story is not unique, it does have some amazing twists to it. The stories always give me everything I could ask for in a story. It gives you action, excitement, adventure, danger and some hot sexy times plus a bit more. My attention was caught from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I had a blast reading this and can guarantee that it will be one of those that will be read more than once. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Sometimes trust is all it takes.

Evan’s life is hell—he’s betrayed the trust Win and the other council assassins have in him, and he’s allowed one of his marks to manipulate and blackmail him. He’s not sure how to get out of the situation, or if it’s even possible. He doesn’t have time to deal with the fact that he lives with his mate and that he’s been ignoring Greg for a while.

Greg has known Evan is his mate since he arrived at the warehouse. He’s stayed away because he can understand why Evan avoided him while he was still seventeen, but he’s eighteen now, and he at least wants to know if there’s the possibility of a future for them.

Greg’s push unravels the lies Evan has been building, and his secret comes to light. Will the other assassins—his family—forgive him for what he’s done? Will Greg? Or will Evan find himself alone against the threat of his blackmailer and the people who are still trying to kill the assassins?

Review: Each book in the collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This particular story is also tied to the Whitedell Pride, Gillham Pack and the Council Enforcer’s series. I would start with the Whitedell Pride series and go from there if you want the full impact.

Evan has a secret that just might get him kicked out of the only home he truly knew. He had disobeyed several orders but he just wanted to keep everyone safe. He let his mark live and then be used by the same man. He has also been staying away from his mate trying to figure this out.

Greg was not an assassin so he didn’t truly know what they went through. However he knew his mate and wanted him. To bad his mate was being difficult. He knew about life being difficult so he had the patience. He had been one of the kids who were saved from those who just wanted pets. Guess it is time for a bit of spying and a lot of help.

As I am a fan of this series I was a bit let down with this particular story. I know why Greg did what he did but I felt that it was not a good plan. Other than that it was still a pretty good story and can’t wait to see what the next story has going on.

With this story you get action, excitement, danger and some hot sexy times. It didn’t catch my attention like it should have but I can say that it will still be read many times over. The characters didn’t do anything for me but I would say that I did like Greg’s little brother quite a bit.

I did enjoy the story and would recommend it.

Blurb: When Beck accepted a job working for the council full-time, he did it to be close to Roark. After so many years apart, he was looking forward to bonding with his best friend again. He gets more than he’d bargained for when he finds his mate as soon as he steps into the house the council assassins live in.

Armand went through what all the assassins went through—he was taken from his life and his family, locked in a lab, and experimented on. The result is that he can become any person he wants to become. It might be an asset when it comes to his job as a council assassin, but it makes it hard to remember who he is.

Beck doesn’t want to push Armand, not when it’s obvious Armand is struggling. But when Armand is sent on a mission and doesn’t come back, Beck lies to the other assassins and tells them he and Armand are bonded to get them to rescue his mate. They save him, but his mission has consequences for a lot of people—including Beck. Will Armand be able to open up to his mate? Review: Each book in the Council Assassin’s collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of Whitedell Pride, Gillham Pack and Council Enforcers so I would start with those first.

Armand’s story was a bit harder to figure out in certain parts but he had been held captive and experimented on. The problem was that he had been human and now could change into any human he needed to. He comes off a bit cold and heartless but it is the exact opposite. He is afraid to get his hopes up and get hurt. Now here was a shifter who was claiming that he was his mate, and boy was he in for a treat.

Beck wanted his mate but was afraid that it wasn’t ever going to happen. Then one day he got a cold chill and knew that Armand was in trouble. He had not expected the kids but damn. The trouble leads to Beck getting hurt and Armand well you will see how he reacts.

It was a little harder to get into but then I realized I had not read the book before it, so was a little off on the history of Armand and Beck. Will definitely be fixing that and soon. Excitement, danger and some hot sexy time is just a little of what you get in this book. It is a very entertaining story that will catch the readers attention right off the bat.

I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading the next book.
