Review: After losing the most important thing in his life, Dalton is just going through life. His captain sees the signs and offers to listen if he needs to talk.
This is a beautifully written story where author D.D. Symms captures the sights and sounds of the surroundings as if you are there. I could see the sweat dripping from Dalton as he ran. Later I could feel his pain. His need. His desire. I sure would like more of this one!
If you like a good short story with military men, bittersweet love, sizzling desire and a satisfying ending (pun intended) you will love this.
