Review: After losing the most important thing in his life, Dalton is just going through life. His captain sees the signs and offers to listen if he needs to talk.

This is a beautifully written story where author D.D. Symms captures the sights and sounds of the surroundings as if you are there. I could see the sweat dripping from Dalton as he ran. Later I could feel his pain. His need. His desire. I sure would like more of this one!

If you like a good short story with military men, bittersweet love, sizzling desire and a satisfying ending (pun intended) you will love this.

Review: Chase is staying with his parent for the holiday and Aiden and his sister are going on a vacation. Neither man is taking bodyguards though they are famous actors. Chase is abducted and Aiden is not sure he will be in time to see Chase alive.

Not Mistaken Identity was a good suspenseful story. I sat on pins and needles hoping Chase survived. Then there was another twist.

I loved the story. I just wish I had more information and details on each character. The story is precise and to the point without a lot of description and details. It is a beautifully poignant story of two men in love and tragedy striking.

If you like, short stories without lots of description, drama, sexy actors, committed relationships, mystery, and suspense and a sweet loving couple you will love this!

Review: Very sweet story of a psychic named Drew who can see ghosts and a ghost named Benji who fall in love. In the story, ghosts can be felt only on Halloween. After an accident and being dead for a minute causes Drew to be able to feel Benji all the time.

Loved this story. It was sweet, heartbreaking, and dramatic. Great sex scenes between Drew and Benji.

Fantastic read.

Review: This is a short, sharp and shiny story about ice hockey player, Marcus and potential recruit to the team, Justin. For what it is, given the short length, it’s a quick read leading to the characters meeting and their instantaneous attraction.

The ending is a bit ambiguous, although we can come up with any further conclusions on our own if we wish. The length and writing style lend itself to this ending without, me at least, becoming frustrating.

Quick and easy, it’s a good bit of entertainment for anyone wanting to read about a couple of hot hockey players.

Review: This is a 2nd Edition and has no changes from the 1st.

While out hunting, Caolan is rescued by a mysterious stranger and Caolan makes a pact with him because of the effect the stranger has on him, but Caolan has to break his pact, but swears to stick by his oath. Donal and Caolan are princes who are sent to safety after an attempt on Caolan’s life, their stepmother is suspected and Donal won’t risk losing his brother. Deceived into returning home Donal is tricked into a geis, an honor-bound quest, it is a geis that will be impossible to fulfill, but Donal and his brother set off for the Dark Prince’s land to obtain the Horse of Bells, picking up the Traveler along the way.

This is another great fantasy from Pelaam, which feels like it should be based on a myth. Both Caolan and Donal are great characters who are wonderful brothers, Caolan is the younger brother and Donal will do anything for him. Donal is strong in body whereas Caolan is stronger in mind, and Donal has always tried to protect his younger brother from their father’s criticisms. When they set out on their quest and Caolan meets up with his lost love it gives them, hope that they will make it to the Dark Prince’s land, but it isn’t easy to obtain a horse who doesn’t want to be obtained.

This story is wonderfully written with a couple of stories entwined, we have two brothers setting out on a quest that is dangerous and finding their true loves, we have an attempted uprising which nearly ends in sorrow and we have a mystical horse that has a mind of its own. The world building is quite good and you get a great feel for the world and circumstances, there is a very heavy medieval feel to the surroundings and you get a strong sense of whimsical myth throughout the entire book. The sexual encounters that we see between the two couples are quite sensual and loving; both couples are well suited and will do the right thing by the ones they love.

I really enjoyed this story as I do like a good medieval feeling fantasy and this one has the added bonus of having two love stories, with danger and sacrifice. Caolan makes everyone see him as a man and Donal shows why he will be king.

I have to recommend this to those who love fantasy, adventure, great characters, an interesting storyline and a very happy blissful ending.

Review: I hope that this is the start of a series because it was that good. I have always loved the paranormal and definitely wolf shifters. When you add in two very hot and sexy men, it gets even better. Rhiannon has a hit on her hands. She gave me a new world to lose myself in when things are getting to tough to deal with.

Lucas is one hell of a sexy cop and a werewolf, who just wants a mate. He has the mating symbol but won’t know till it has been completed. Catching a serial killer is on his mind, till Toby is sent to help. Toby is a FBI agent and very human, but he comes off as an alpha all his own. They not only hit it off, but Lucas knows in his heart that Toby is his mate. They have a connection that can’t be severed and the sex is hot. Their strengths and weaknesses complement each other.

This story was really good but the only problem I had was that it wasn’t long enough. I wanted to hear more about them and what is going on, but I can’t wait to read it again. It was really an amazing little story.

Blurb:Christmas would be bleak affair this year… until an emotionally scarred soldier returns from war and throws Kit’s well-ordered life into upheaval.

Christopher Whyte never aspired to hold a respected position in the Langholm household. After all, during his youth, he had once been caught trying to pickpocket the former earl of Langholm. Yet somehow, through the magnanimous nature of the family and some unexpected circumstances, he has become valet to the new earl. However, with the new earl’s arrival come the bittersweet memories and unwanted emotions that Kit had thought buried long ago. Then, an unexpected offer gives Kit a new perspective on his situation, and he must make a choice: a life of security and stability away from his new master, or one of unrequited love with him?

Alexander Harrington, the new earl of Langholm, knows he shouldn’t have come back. After having fought in the Crimean War, the man he had once been no longer existed. As the Christmas season nears, he is only further reminded of how far removed he is from the idealistic youth he once was and how foreign his home now feels. But it is his new valet, a man he vaguely remembers from childhood, begins to rouse something within him—something sweetly tempting, yet undeniably forbidden. And when the reality of losing Kit becomes all too real, he is forced to confront and beat his past demons. Can a Christmas miracle restore his long lost faith before Kit is lost to him for all time?

Review: This is such a beautiful story. I Love a good historical romance especially a MM since back then it was even more taboo and in some places a death sentence. This wasn’t a story of sex but of finding love and dealing with feelings.

The story begins with Christopher pickpocketing to get money to feed his little sister. Their mother had recently died and they were running from abuse in the orphanage. I think it was Fate that the first man he chose to pickpocket was an Earl and his wife and son walk up as he is trying to decide what to do with Christopher.  The young boy shows mercy and asks to bring the children along with them and give them food and shelter for work.

The story progresses quickly, yet smoothly, from there. There are twists and turns, secrets, one pretty hot, sex scene, and lots of emotion. I absolutely loved the story and when it got to the end I was happy, but I wanted more.  No! Don’t stop! Go on! Please! Yes! I’m begging for more!

If you love a sweet love story, orphans, Dukes, Earls, Fate, and an ending that makes you sigh happily, but want more this is for you!

Blurb:When it comes to the dark weavings of hoodoo magic, only a few can survive.

It’s started. Bodies have been found in the French Quarter, torn limb from limb. The undead have been seen walking. For Detective Matthew Rieves, this is the worst news he can imagine. Having spent his entire life in Orleans Parish, Matt’s no stranger to the bizarre. Though, despite the growing evidence, he still has a hard time believing in the occult. But when two hoodoo bokors vie for supremacy, it’s the innocent civilians that pay the price.

For Jesse Dalembert, he’d left New Orleans to sever his ties with hoodoo. But when a friend is brutally murdered by the bokor’s zombies, he returns, falling at once into danger and into Detective Rieves’s bed. With their lives on the line, their simmering attraction flares into a passion they can no longer deny.

Working against time, can the lovers find a way to stop the hoodoo war, or will they fall victim to the dark magic, maybe becoming zombies themselves?

Review: The Dark Bokor is a unique take on Zombies.  I found the story very original and interesting.

Jesse has tried to sever his ties with the Hoodoo community but when  his friend and ex-lover is found murdered he finds himself back in action and back  working with detective Matt Rieves the man who has been starring  in his fantasies far too long.

This story has a lot of mystery, lots of magic or hoodoo and lots of hot mansex.  Oh did I mention Zombies?

I liked the unique take on the Zombies, the New Orleans hoodoo and dark magic setting, and how the backstory and the romance and the Zombies are all wove together smoothly so that nothing was overwhelming. I also liked that it wasn’t gory.

I recommend this to anyone that likes a good mystery, hot mansex and Zombies.

Review:  Christophe LaFavre is self-assured and confident at work, in his love life, not so much. When his best friend and co-worker Jas nags him to go out and have some fun, he relents. He didn’t expect to stumble upon a man who could set him on fire with just a look. And there is something about his eyes and his voice that Christophe finds familiar, but he can’t place it.

I loved this book at the start with the mystery and passion between Christophe and the stranger. A little over half way through it took a bit of a nosedive into cliché’s and angst. There is some pretty hot, consensual sex that involves tabletops and chairs as well and not necessarily in that order or at the same time! Overall, though this was a fast paced, slightly sexy novella that is right up your alley if you’re in the mood for a quickie.

Review: Overall, This is a very good collection of short stories. A great book to take along on a summer vacation for a nice quiet read. Very hot and sexy with sweet stories and mostly happy endings!

Blurb: The Land of Embarrassment and Brunch by Sax Alexander

Jamie is head over heels for Chris, but does dating exclusively for six months mean it’s mutual? When an old college flame invites Jamie to his live art show, and Chris insists they attend, Jamie gets the answer to his question—a sizzling performance that just might steal the show.

♥♥♥♥4 Hearts
This is a short and cute story of two men that have been dating a few months. One day Jamie literally runs into his ex and gets invited to an art exhibit, Chris accepts to Jamie’s chagrin. I thought this was a really sweet, hot and slightly funny story of young love

Thing About The Being a Werewolf by Sally Max

Dumped, homeless, and hunted, wasn’t how Torolf thought he would be spending the full moon. His only hope is to find another pack and ask for asylum. While running for his life, a great white wolf appears which can only mean one of two things: safety or death.

♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
Oh boy was this a fun story. Torolf is on the run for his life when a white wolf saves him.
Though it is a typical werewolf story it is beautifully written, the characters interesting, and the style sweet with a touch of wit. I would love to read this in a full-length story.

Sun, Surf, Sand, and a Sling by Alex Carreras

When David Hendricks suggests a getaway to Fort Lauderdale, Daniel Fletcher, David’s partner, jumps at the chance imagining blue skies, ocean breezes and sandy beaches. What he doesn’t imagine is a clothing optional resort were guests wear nothing but a smile, and each room has a sling suspended from the ceiling.

♥♥♥♥4 Hearts
Daniel and David have been in a long-term relationship that has gone a bit stale. They take a vacation to reignite the flames. David booked them at a resort called The Leather
Inn; each room has a leather sling.
I thought this was such a cute, sweet story of two men in love that just wanted to get the sizzle back. The story is sweet and hot with a happy ever after ending.

A New Dawn by Raven McAllan

Sam never thought he’d move forward with the help of his past in the shape of Alex. Would their history help or hinder them?

♥♥♥3 Hearts
Sam is a gay bar owner and his image is extremely campy. He reminisces about his first love and wishes he knew why he left him for another man without a word. Abraham/Alex moves back to town and Sam literally falls for him again
This story has a lot of potential but I have to say it left me pretty confused. There were many things mentioned that never got followed up on and the camp and clichés were so over the top it left me confused. However the overall romance was so sweet, who doesn’t like a first love found again…

Underground Temptation by Monica Corwin

Rone spends his days guarding London’s elite and his nights seducing them. No one has ever been good enough, beautiful enough, to tame him. The Abyss, London’s premier nightspot for an edgier crowd, always brings something new to the table. Tonight, his name is Josh.

♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
Rone is in a S& M bar when he spots a beautiful man. He is taken immediately by him but another Dom approaches. The other Dom gets bossy and Rone can tell the guy is not into S&M and definitely not a submissive. He goes to the rescue and Josh is appreciative.
Wow ! This story is beautiful and hot. I loved both characters, how they complimented each other so well. I was disappointed that the potential of the D’s wasn’t explored further but the sex was perfect for Josh’s first time. My only issue was it ends too fast. I wanted to scream more, more, more!

Exercising His Options by Wt Prater

When Enver Mann started jogging every morning, it was at his wife’s provocation. After a year, he’s still at it, but now it’s his choice. Little does he know that choice may open up a whole world to him. While jogging one day, he happens upon two men having sex, and for the first time he wants that. The man with the red hair and the incredible ass. And while his mind might second guess him, his wife doesn’t. When she instigates their encounter, Enver knows he will never look at life, or sex, the same way again.

♥♥♥♥4Hhearts
Enver was jogging one day when he hears a sound in the woods stopping to check he saw two men having oral sex. He was so turned on but he felt guilty. He told his wife and she took it well and they had sex, she went jogging with him that weekend and hired Kurt to jog with him.
I loved this story a lot. It is a beautiful story of a man with his sexual identity changing. His wife is supportive and helps him deal with this new feeling and it has spiced up their love life as well. I will say I wasn’t thrilled with the ending. I prefer more conclusive one, one way or another. But I will say this was amazing and HOT!

Paul’s Mistake by Dianne Hartsock

Paul has no doubts. He wants Eran in his life. But can Eran, a young man from an abusive background, come to terms with his fears so he can have a future with this man he loves?

♥♥♥♥4 Hearts
Paul is very much in live with Eran, and wants to protect and shelter him. Eran is tired of running and hiding from his past and wants to prove to Paul that he isn’t a mistake.
This is an extremely hot and sexy story, but is also so heartfelt. I couldn’t help but love both of these men, and of wish for a love like the one, they shared.

Fraternity Brothers by Carrie Pulkinen

When Aiden joins a fraternity, he has no idea a hazing incident with Miguel will change his life forever. Now, being friends with Miguel isn’t enough. Can Aiden plant the seed for romance to bloom without killing their friendship? Or will he have to settle for just being fraternity brothers?

♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
Aiden joined a fraternity and was shocked the initiation. The leader tied him and the other candidate naked, spanked them and ordered Miguel to give Aiden a blowjob. Aiden was straight but couldn’t get over thinking about Miguel.
This story was hot and sweet. I loved how the two worked out a friendship after the embarrassing ordeal, and became friends. If you like hot, sexy, stories about friends to lovers this is for you

♥♥♥♥4 Hearts

Much to his surprise the general is the man he had spent the night with. Let’s just say his punishment consisted of a cane, a spanking, hot sex, and a voyeuristic Secretary.
This story was hot! Hot! Hot!

♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts
Simon takes Wilber for a walk and he disappear. Following him, he meets a sexy man, Harvey with an unusual pet. They quickly make friends, and the two men hit it off too!
This was such a cute story. The characters were great though I’d have liked more description of Simon since it’s supposed to be why people can’t believe his job. Otherwise, the story was very sweet with several twists and turns, the sex hot and loving, and the animals an extra benefit.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves a good collection of sweet, romantic and sexy, love stories; there is a little something for everyone. , Plenty of hot man- sex and satisfying endings

Review: Ikarus is hiding from the living dead, he finds an abandoned B&B and seeks shelter and runs into Mikhail who is also hiding out. Their reaction to each other is explosive but they have bigger problems to face than their attraction to each other, like the woman (Ruthe) who mysteriously appeared in an upstairs bedroom, like the zombie hordes gathering outside the B&B and the fact that Ikarus can’t remember anything before three months ago. As Ikarus, Mikhail and Ruthe run for their lives they pick up two more survivors Rapphael Higgins and a young girl, Sati. All of them are connected but none of them knows how, and when they are betrayed they discover someone has been pulling their strings and needs them for their own purposes, the five of them have to work together to stop their destruction and to stop a madman from completely destroying the world.

This is one of those stories that begins with great potential but then gets too complicated and fanciful. The story starts with a series of news items explaining that there was a chemical spill and the results of it, we then meet Ikarus as he hides from the Zombies. The story progresses quite quickly and sometimes, it feels too quick, we are left with little information and mysterious characters who confuse us and leave us clueless. Other things come into play and you shake your head as the story becomes even more confusing. The one thing that results from reading this story is that you understand that a lunatic listened to some voices in his head and created a chemical that resulted in the world inhabitants becoming Zombies, the rest just leaves you banging your head.

I love a good post-apocalypse Zombie outbreak as much as the next person, but this one fell short by trying too hard. The storyline became too complicated with the five survivors being the impossible, and the maniac apparently ‘making’ them what they are. I couldn’t wrap my head around the coincidences as they suddenly all appeared in just the right place at the right time, half of them not remembering anything from before they were found. The only ones who remembered anything was Mikhail and Higgins, but we still didn’t get that much background from them. What really annoyed me was how the women seemed to know things no one else did and they also refused to share most of what they knew. It was like the blind leading the blind while being mysterious about it.

The relationship between Mikhail and Ikarus was impossible to believe, the instant attraction you can understand but saying the ‘L’ word after just a few hours was just wrong, them taking Higgins to bed after just meeting him was over the top, especially seeing as Mikhail and Ikarus hadn’t even had sex yet. Some things I did like though, like the descriptions of the Zombies and their movements, how the fresher they are the faster they move, so yeah I really liked the Zombies and how the world was infected, it just got complicated when it went off into fantasyland.

I would only recommend this to those who love fanciful zombie stories, absurd happenings, mmm, and an ending that leaves you wondering.

Blurb:  Pulling over to help at the scene of an emergency was the right thing for Dr. Madison Cahil to do.

But if emergency services didn’t arrive quickly, he would miss celebrating his anniversary at a swanky restaurant with his lover, Shane. He’d already disappointed the man he loved; now the whole night would be ruined. Not that Shane would make a scene. He’d smile sweetly and declare that it was fine. Madison hated that word. Fine never meant fine when Shane said it. Fine meant fuck off, asshole.

Review:  Dr. Madison Cahil is in a rush to get home to his lover for an anniversary celebration. On the way, he comes upon accident. What should be one of the happiest moments of his life could turn into one of the worst.

Lee Brazil always writes such sweet and charming stories. So if you want a very short, quick read, especially to kill time at a Doctor’s Office or any place you have to wait or a trek on the treadmill, give this author a try. You can always count on one of his books to take you away and make you sigh. I do have to say, I found this story a bit predictable, and the editing was a bit slack, but it still was a very good, sweet story, with hot mansex. The cover is awesome!

You also get two more free short stories. All Nighter and Summer Vacation. All three are sweet and charming in the always sigh-worthy Lee Brazil style.

I recommend this story to any one that likes doctors, sweet, loving stories, and hot mansex. And of course, Lee Brazil.

Review:  Brandt comes back to town hoping Kaden and he can reignite an old flame, one they let go out, with each choosing to follow their career. Now Brandt has retired from the rodeo and back in town to claim the love he left behind. Kaden is a veteran and his new young assistant, Mike is a very good friend. He has always been there for Kaden.  Even when Kaden was pining all these years over Brandt. Mike is devastated when Brandt shows up. He really thought perhaps Kaden would finally let him in his heart and bed. Can Kaden choose between Brandt, the love he always wanted or Mike, the best friend and man he has lusted for? What happens in spring, when the rodeo is back?  What will Brandt choose a threesome or the road? Choices! Choices!

This story was a very fun fast short read. But it seemed I’d read this before. Not that it mattered; I liked the story of Brandt, Kaden and Mike a lot. The sex is hot and the characters are all three swoon-worthy.  I just needed more of it. The story of the hater attacking them was good, also. The only problem that kept me from loving this was it seemed disjointed and the stories seemed rushed.   I would love more. More of Kaden and Brandt’s relationship, then more of Mike and Brandt’s relationship, and finally, more of the threesome. It really never unfolded, just was there suddenly.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves threesomes, cowboys, vets, hot loving sex, and very a poignant love-story.

Could you love someone enough to accept they love someone else and become a threesome? What would your choice be?  Choices, choices!

Review: This story was about Arden Grey’s brother, Sebastian and her assistant, Rick. It really didn’t have any of the original Truth or Dare characters in it but, it was absolutely fabulous anyway. Whenever I need a fast story that I know will make me sigh, leave me breathless, and feel good all over when it’s done, I know I can count on Lee Brazil to deliver. This is a beautiful heartfelt story of friends to lovers, or better yet two men that have been in love for ten years and have acted on it for a year. Unfortunately, Rick has a past that keep him from giving in to his heart.

I recommend this book to everyone that loves good friends to lovers’ romance.  A hot mansex, makes ya feel good and sigh story. It’s a must read!

Review:  First of all, I want to say I’m a huge Lee Brazil fan. I was thrilled to see something paranormal by him. Sadly, it wasn’t what I thought it would be. As usual the romance between the two men was fabulous! I am such a sucker for a heartfelt, strong “til death do us part” type of romance and was not let down at all here. The shifter story just had something missing. I think maybe it was just the story was a bit short so that part got rushed to get in all the great sex.

Here’s the story in a nutshell. Luke is a wealthy man that seems to have it all, money a great house, a sexy boyfriend and a dark secret. Jeremy loves everything about his boyfriend. Luke. They dated a long time before moving in and he knew all about Luke’s monthly hunting trips. He thought when he moved in though, that they would stop, or at least he would be invited along. Neither happened and Jeremy became jealous thinking he must be having an affair so he follows him one month. So does he find Luke cheating? Is Luke in danger? Or is it Jeremy in danger? What is Luke’s dark secret? Who is hunting Luke and why? I’m not going to tell you. You will have to get the book and see.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves Lee Brazil, a tight loving romance, hot sex, and werewolves!

Review:

Simple Simon met a pieman, Going to the fair;

Says Simple Simon to the pieman, Let me taste your ware.

Says the pieman to Simple Simon, Show me first your penny;

Says Simple Simon to the pieman, Indeed I have not any.

Twelve years and Simon still keeps that last memory of Chase breaking up with him. Those last words he said “It’s simple Simon. You lack ambition…” hunting him and pushing him toward his success. Now he has returned with a single goal, to show his old love just how ambitious he got. What Simon did not expect was how little does a twelve years older Chase care about that, for indeed when he shows up in front of him as a poor man, Chase only cares for him and makes whatever he can to get him back. Hastily made assumptions and unspoken words lead to misunderstandings that Simon was not prepared for. He came back to shove his success and fortune at his ex-lover’s face in a petty act of revenge and ends up falling all over for him, as if he ever stopped wanting the man. And Chase ends up making the same mistake he made twelve years ago. Can he make things right now? Can he win this new Simon and have a life with him?

This is a romance through and through. It somehow reminded me the Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks movies, very mellow and with a slight notch of humor. Although it was not entirely my cup of tea, I cannot deny that it had some appeal to me. The characters were cute and sexy, if a bit indifferent. I was more interested in the story itself than Simon and Chase. However their lovemaking made up a lot, I found the sex scenes quite fun and somewhat sensual. Some of them were indeed a bit over-sweet for my taste, but hey, I’m a very peculiar reader.

I’d recommend this story to romance lovers and anyone else in search for a light, enjoyable read. Have fun!!!

Review: Alexios has reached the age to take a mentor, but his father is using it as a way to secure allies through a betrothal.  Alexios catches King Lykos’ eye and Alexios finally notices his slave, Galen, and a god decides to shape his future for his kindness towards Apollo’s prophet, Cyrus.  But, due to the bitterness and jealousy of one man, everything might be snatched away with Alexios’ life.

I absolutely love Greek mythology and this story is a prime example of the wonders of the Greek gods. Alexios is coming up to his eighteen birthday, the time when he is to choose a mentor.  After meeting all the visiting Kings there is little doubt in his mind who he wants as his mentor and that man also happens to heat his blood. Galen has watched his master with lust in his eyes for a while and now finally his master is noticing him back. But, then Galen is attacked in his master’s chambers. Lykos has many reasons for courting Alexios and one of them is to punish Alexios’ father.

There is quite a bit going on in this well written novella and it all leads back to Alexios, in one way or another; his treatment of Cyrus brings him to the attention of Apollo, Lykos’ attention leads Alexios to take more notice of Galen and Alexios father’s bitterness and resentment leads him to call the wrath of the gods. This is a really enjoyable story with a twist for Alexios at the end. Alexios is a red-blooded male who is just finding his oats with men so there are some passionate clinches and longing looks with some special lovemaking for Galen.

The characters in this book are great and meld well together to give us an image in our minds of the interactions and attitudes of the ancient Greeks. The image of the gods having such interaction with the mortals and the rules that even the gods had to abide by. and it gives us an interesting tale that I really enjoyed. I know there are two more stories planned in this series and I am hoping that they will have Cyrus in there somewhere, so we can see how he is progressing.

I will recommend this to those who love Greek mythology, hot sex, gods, the wrath of gods, twisty background stories and a happy for now ending.

Blurb:   Valentine Michaels has just taken a vow of celibacy. Adrian Grey intends to take full advantage of that vow to re-create his relationship with Val.

Val is at a crossroads in his life. A college dropout, he’s gone as far as he can in his career as a cosmetologist, owning his own style salon. He no longer finds satisfaction in it, though he’s put years into proving to his bigoted parents that a college degree and the veneer of straightness aren’t the only roads to success. They’d turned their backs on him, and he proved he didn’t need them to make it.

His love life is no better than his working life. His relationships always start with a bang and fizzle into boredom, or worse, anger.

Adrian has his own agenda for helping Val: he’s been in love with Val since they were freshmen. The intervening years of listening to Val’s gossip about his lovers and relationships have taught Adrian just what it was he did wrong all those years ago, and he thinks this time around he now knows exactly how to get—and keep—his man.

Review:  Ten years ago, Adrian and Val were roommates in college.  For one week, they were even a bit more.  But, even though their romance didn’t survive, their friendship has endured.

I loved this story!!!  I almost didn’t read it.  The title kinda threw me.  I think of librarians as little old ladies with auditory issues; not a sexy Dominant with a Master’s in Library Science. Not to mention one with a brilliant mind and a killer body.

Truly, this has got to be one of the best seductions ever written.  Adrian has waited ten years for the man he loves to get a clue.  Since that obviously isn’t happening, Adrian takes matters into his own hands.  Poor Val doesn’t know what hit him.  I almost wanted to feel sorry for Val, but he has spent so many years looking for love in all the wrong places.  A sneak attack was definitely in order.  There was a hint of bondage, but honestly, there is way too much love and respect for that to fly.

This story is well written.  Adrian might be the title character, but this is really the story of Valentino’s seduction.  And the beautiful thing was that most of that seduction was with their clothes on.  The lovin’ is hot and I can’t remember the last time I smiled so much, while reading a book.

I only pray that Lee Brazil stays in a nice, sweet relationship.  Cuz, if he ever goes prowling…no one would be safe.  The man’s mind is deliciously wicked. Highly recommend.

Blurb:  Haunted by nightmares, Mark learned the hard way to guard his heart. But Gabe may just be the man to bring Mark’s guard down.

After his last long-term relationship ended because of his nightmares, Mark closed his heart to the possibility of

finding love again. He’s certainly never considered Gabe, the orderly who works at Miller’s Retirement Home where his father lives. But there’s more to Gabe than meets the eye, and if Mark is willing to let Gabe in, he might just discover the most important buried treasure of all.
Review: This is one of the sweetest romances I’ve read in a long time.  The lovey dovey starts pretty close to the beginning, but by the time we, as readers, jump in, Mark and Gabe have known each other for almost three years.  So, it’s not technically  “I just met you…now I love you.”  Then they start having weekly coffee dates.  Both wanting more, but leery that their personal secrets will be too much for the other to handle.
I can tell you, as a former nurse, that the author’s descriptions of the retirement home and an Alzheimer’s patient were spot on.  My only complaint is that this book wasn’t longer.
