Blurb: Caelan is going crazy, or at least that’s what it feels like. He’s having blackouts, waking up in places he can’t remember going to, losing hours and sometimes even days, and he has no idea what he does during the times he can’t remember.

Until he wakes up to find a severed head on his bed.

Jordan didn’t mean to get involved in this case. He’s a detective, a human detective, and he shouldn’t care what happens to demons. He doesn’t even like demons. But when more and more of them are found torn apart, he worries and decides to give the League the info so they can do something about it before more people get hurt.

The last person Jordan would have suspected of being behind the brutal murders is Aiden’s pretty, delicate-looking brother. When he finds Caelan with yet another body, he surprises himself by taking Caelan home rather than delivering him to the League. He’s even more surprised when the League decides to help.

They might not be able to, though, because Caelan is possessed, and the demon inside him is strong. Is it too strong for Caelan to survive? And why does Jordan feel the need to stick by Caelan and make sure he’ll be okay? What will that mean for his job—for his life?

Review: Each book in the Demons Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Humans did not get involved in demon’s affairs not even for murder, especially if it involved another demon. So when Jordan was told to go investigate, well you can imagine his surprise. He was not a fan of demons, didn’t mean he wouldn’t help them but he preferred to stay away. The only times he ever went there was to see his best friend. A best friend that was mated to a demon warrior. But what he finds will shock the crap out of him.

Caelan has been blacking out and loosing time. With the murders going on he was beginning to feel like he had something to do with them. It was more so after waking up covered in blood and laying besides the head of a demon. Must have been one hell of a night. He decides to run, but ends up sitting besides the body that went with the head.

Jordan has the hots for a sexy purple haired demon with a tale. Now he just needs to figure out what is wrong. Jordan needs to figure out how to keep the demon he is falling in love with alive. This is one of the best books I have read by this author in quite a while. I have always been a big fan of Catherine’s work and it has definitely been a good ride.

The characters are quite unique, well the demon guys are. At first when I saw the cover I wasn’t too sure if it was a guy or not, but damn he is a cutie. The story was entertaining as hell and gave me everything I could want in a story. You get danger, excitement, adventure, some hot sexy times and quirky upper level demon exorcists. My attention was caught from the moment I started reading and I just couldn’t put it down.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

Blurb: The right thing to do isn’t always the one we convince ourselves of.

Aiden has done his best to stay away from Lewis since that day fifteen years before when he foolishly kissed him. Lewis is Aiden’s brother’s best friend, almost another brother, so it hasn’t been easy for Aiden, but it’s for the best. Aiden’s secret half-demon status isn’t something Lewis can accept, and Aiden never wants to see disgust or fear in his eyes.

Lewis never understood why Aiden kissed him and ran away when they were teenagers, but he accepted they would never be more than acquaintances years before. That’s why he’s surprised when he opens his door one night and finds Aiden on the other side of it. Something has happened to him, and he ends up spending the night at Lewis’ place, disappearing before Lewis wakes up the next morning.

Circumstances keep throwing Aiden and Lewis together, though. Someone is stalking Lewis, and his life is in danger. Can Aiden risk sharing who he really is and keep Lewis safe at the same time? And if he does tell Lewis what he’s hiding, will their new relationship fall apart when they most need it?

Review: Each book in the Demons Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author a short time ago when she came out with her first story and was amazed by the worlds she creates. The characters are fully developed and they make me feel like I am right there with them. you can see their feelings, their compassion, their faith, their loyalty and their love for each other. The way Catherine puts her words together makes it feel like you are right there fighting with them and for them. It is a fast paced story that will fascinate you and keep you entertained.

When Lewis was younger his mother had been attacked by a demon and scared him. They escaped but it left him not trusting them at all. Lewis had basically grew up with aiden and Chase. When they were in their teens Lewis had kissed him, then ran. They just kept it at friendship but damn Chase wanted more. Now fifteen years later, he might just get his wish. That is after they find out who was stalking Lewis.

Aiden’s mother had been raped by a nasty demon, which gave her Aiden. His mother loved him even after how he was conceived. She loved them all, and when someone came to their friendship, she added them into the family. He fell in love with Lewis so many years ago, but he feared what would happen, if Lewis found out he was half demon. But he could wait first they needed to find out who wanted Lewis and who was also after Aiden.

This is one of those stories that will be read more than once. I enjoyed reading it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Sometimes we have to face our past even if it’s the last thing we want to do.

Cumar has been living in the human world for the past eight years, and he has no intention of changing that. He has a job he likes, friends, and he’s in love with Yo’ash, the bouncer of the only club for demons in Chicago. That love might be unrequited, but it’s better than anything he’d have had in Hell, where he grew up.

Yo’ash likes his life predictable and boring, and Cumar is anything but that. They share a past, but Cumar has never seemed to recognize Yo’ash, and Yo’ash is glad for it. It’s a part of his life he’d rather not think about, and it’s one of the reasons he keeps Cumar at arm’s length, the other one being that Cumar doesn’t seem to be able to commit to one person.

When someone comes after Cumar, exposing who he is and his past and forcing him to go back to Hell, Yo’ash has to make a decision. Will the trouble Cumar is facing be enough for him to step away once and for all, or will they both realize that together they are stronger than apart?

Review: Each book in the Demon Hearts collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across this author when her first book in the Whitedell Pride series came out and from that point on I knew that she would become a favorite. The worlds she creates are unique and keep my attention from the moment I start reading. The characters are sexy, fierce, tempting and will fight for what they believe is right. The stories are fascinating and give the reader everything they could ask for in a story. Heat, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure are just a few things you get in these stories.

Cumar’s father is one of the Prince’s of Hell and you can guess just how evil the man can be. Cumar never wanted anything to do with it, so at seventeen he took off for the human world. He worked for the League, a group that policed the demons and other paranormals. He actually liked his job and those around him. However with his older brothers death, it meant he was next in line. To bad he didn’t want the job.

Yo’ash used to be a bodyguard in hell for ten years and hated it. He hated the whole thing about hell. He pretty much likes the way life is and doesn’t want to change it. He likes to keep his life the way it is, and the only thing he wanted was someone permanent in his life. Cumar was the one he wanted but the man never settled down. But when demon’s are sent for Cumar, Yo’ash is the first one in line to protect him. Now if only he would get his head out of his ass and go for the man who has loved him for a very long time.

I think this is probably one of my favorite books in this series but then again I always think that with each book. I just got a kick out of Cumar. The man might be a fighter and a demon but damn he is just about as sexy as you get. I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

This is one of those books you will read more than once, I know I will.
