Blurb: In the conclusion to the Dragon Hearts Series, Adam and Novik are having trouble finding some alone time together after the birth of their son, and another recent attack by the humans, and the dragons within their own nest, haven’t been making things easier for them. Adam misses the intimacy he used to share with his mate, but rarely sees him because of Novik’s duties as the leader of the dragon warriors. Adam is determined to get the time they need to reconnect.

Novik has no problem with this, but it seems his duties to protect the nest have him returning home too exhausted to do more than fall into bed, let alone see his mate and child. He’s determined to make this work one way or another.

However, a familiar enemy will make one last attack on the nest, going after every human to have ever vexed him, and it might put Adam and Novik’s plans on hold indefinitely.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

The humans and their dragon mates are as hot as ever in the sex department. But since the trouble with the human village the warriors have been able to spend less time with their mates. They are feeling the strain and loneliness. So when they do get a moment or two they sure make the most of it.

This book was mostly about Novik and Adam, but there were also scenes with a few of the other couples, and updates about those that did not have their own scenes. Jason and Kraigan are still my favorite pairing. The two have them love to pick on each other but the love still comes through. I always laugh at Jason’s smartass mouth.

I liked this conclusion to the series. The book was able to tie up all the loose ends and give a glimpse of the future the nest will have. Not everything is perfect but the dragons on their human mates are happy, and well on the way to happily ever after.

This was great story to end the series.

Blurb: Tatsu Lung, powerful dragon warrior for his nest, has to get over the fact that the man he secretly loved was in love with another. Not easy to do when he’s stuck in bed for weeks with an injury, but the cute human healer is interested in taking away his ache in more ways than one.

Nathan Price thought he was a human, until one amazing night spent with Tatsu revealed the truth. He’s part shifter, maybe even part dragon, and now he’s got a dragon child growing inside of him. He has to tell Tatsu, and he isn’t looking forward to letting the man who does not love or care for him, know that he’s about to become a father.

Nathan isn’t prepared at all when Tatsu insists on moving Nathan in with him, and since Nathan is a human, or at least part human, in a nest of dragons, he has no right to say no.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Tatsu has finally met his match in human Nathan. Nathan is the only healer willing to work with Tatsu after he has taken a bullet meant for Kraigan. These two clash all the time in the healing clinic. Tatsu won’t stop moving around and keeps opening his wound forcing Nathan to keep fixing him up. Finally the passion explodes in another direction and they have a one night stand.

Three months later and Tatsu and Nathan are about to be tied together by a child. Tatsu uses the excuse, that for the safety of both the child and Nathan, they should move in with Tatsu. This causing its own issues. These two have so many misunderstandings and problems it’s not funny.

They both have issues that need to be worked through. Tatsu needs to get his act together and finally face the facts about his true feelings for both Kraigan and Nathan. Nathan has insecurities in his standing with Tatsu and needs to learn to trust him.
One thing they don’t need to work on his the sex. That is just fine between them. Although really there are not many scenes in the book between them. The ones that are a well written and sufficiently hot and sexy.

I actually enjoyed the calmer pace of this book. There is no real action, just the two men trying to work through and understand their relationship with each other. There is hint that the villagers may come back into play in future books and cause more issues. But mostly the book focused on Nathan and Tatsu, as they discover their feelings for each other.

Blurb: Adam Rivers is still getting used to life as being the only human mated to a dragon in an enemy nest. His lover, dragon warrior Novik Grey, is always accommodating, even if there are others who want to see Adam gone.

After Novik rescues a friend of Adam’s, tension in the nest rises, and the humans are considering going to war against the dragons. This is enough to cause a lot of stress and anxiety throughout the dragons, and Adam doesn’t want to complain, even when a few people come a little too close, sound a little too threatening. Adam wants to take some of the load off of Novik’s shoulders by handling this himself, by proving that he doesn’t always have to rely on Novik to save him.

When the dragons get together and form a plot to get Adam out of the nest, without his or Novik’s permission, Adam might just be a little in over his head.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

At the start of the book Adam and his friend Jason are waiting for the return of Novik and some other dragons who went to the village to rescue Athy. When they get back everyone is happy for a time. At least until it is learned that the villagers are getting riled up to attack the dragons.

Now both dragons and the human servants are treating Adam and his friends like they have the plague.
The relationship between Adam and Novik has continued to strengthen. However the story was not all about them. There are also looks into other characters like Jason and Kraigan, and Blue and Lighting. These lead me to hope that they will have their own stories in the series.

Although this book was not as enjoyable as the first for me, I think it was also a way of preparing for the rest of the series. It explores other characters and also seems to give a possible story arc of the issue with the human village and the difference of opinion the dragons have with each other. It also dropped a couple of little bombshells off that I really want to get more answers on.

It was fast paced and well written, and with enough steamy moments to keep me happy without being too much. New characters and situations were introduced and have pulled my attention. So overall, I will be looking forward to more in this series.

Blurb: Adam Rivers is about to be sacrificed to the bloodthirsty dragons for the crime of not paying his debts.

Review: Adam and his best friend Jason are tied up to be sacrificed to the local dragons. There dragons come for them and Adam somehow wakes up in a comfortable bed being pleasured by a handsome man with familiar eyes. Thinking he was now a slave, Adam doesn’t question things. Afterward, Adam learns the man is a dragon that he saved from dying ten years ago, and that Novik wants him as his mate.

Novik has wanted Adam for ten years. When he sees Adam is to be sacrificed, he takes the chance to claim Adam as his own. Adam is not sure about being a mate of a dragon warrior at first but he is willing to learn. However, he does not get that he is an equal among the dragons now, even if some of the dragon disagree. Both Adam and Novik have adjustments they need to make so their mating works.

Marcy Jacks has another dragon series going. This one is different enough that I did not feel like I was reading the same series. The dragons are physically different for one, and a few other things. I enjoyed this different take on the dragons in this series. The writing was good as I except from Marcy. It was engaging and entertaining. The sex scenes were hot and not overly gratuitous. Both MCs are easy to like and made me want their mating to work.

The story does end a little open-ended so I look forward to reading more in the series. There are several secondary characters that I would be interested in reading more about.
