Blurb: Manny’s willing to do anything it takes to be loved by the spirit mate of his dreams, but there’s a fine line between dreams and nightmares.

Manny’s life has improved in so many ways since moving to Romania, but he’s unhappy that the last essential piece ”finding his spirit mate” hasn’t happened yet. He’s more than ready, willing, and able to make that dream come true. If only the match for his birthmark would finally show up, because he’s determined to be the best damned spirit mate anyone ever had.

Mika’s always had been relieved to not have a birthmark like his twin. He’s never going to end up stuck with some fate-ordained mate he doesn’t even know. The rock & roll bachelor life, with friends and hook-ups he chooses for himself, suits him perfectly.

But Mika’s never had a friend quite like Manny, and he’s never been as angry about the whole fated mate nonsense as he is when it becomes Manny’s only goal. All Mika can do, though, is offer Manny his support. As his friend.

Review: Usually one goes for books because of their titles and blurbs, however in this case the author has always given me stories that I end up reading more than once. This story was no different. I love the paranormal and fantasy world. K-lee always gives you a world that you can lose yourself into. It is a world that I would love to find out more about. This is book three and I would suggest starting with the first book.

I find that even though it is broken into two different parts, it worked pretty well for this story. Most times it drives me nuts and leaves me with questions. However with this one it was easy to follow. Now the only problem I had was it seemed way too descriptive and drawn out to me. Other than that it was a great read.

Manny is very special and such a dream to read about. He wants what his friends have, a true spirit mate. He wants the happiness they have and wants it now. He is getting tired of waiting. He didn’t have a great home life which is what captivated me with him. I felt more for him then I have with many of the other characters. He has a family now, one that he has chosen. They are a sort of mismatched and quirky. His little family of misfits wants the best for him as well.

The problem was Manny’s spirit mate was not connecting like they should. Manny wants his to be like his friends. Mika on the other hand never wanted his fated mate, but will help Manny. I do love the way K-lee makes you feel what the characters are feeling. Mika wasn’t a favorite of mine in the other stories, but he made headway in this one. I love how he gives up so much to make Manny happy. It also made me feel bad for him at the same time.

The story draws you in and keeps you there to the very end. I had so much fun reading this and look forward to reading more by this amazing author. I loved the way K-lee makes you anticipate what is going to happen next.

I had a blast with this story and look forward to reading more by this author. I can’t wait for the next her next story.

I would definitely recommend it.
