Blurb: What happens when a fairy loses his wings—and his memory?
Griff was born a Love fairy, but he never quite fit in. He didn’t want to be part of a harem. At least…he didn’t think he wanted that. What with his wings gone and his memory damaged, he can’t be certain of what he felt in the past. All he does know is, he wants his wings back. Without them, he’s grounded.

Blaze is a dragon shifter who tends to stick his foot in his mouth—and some other parts in other places—when he really shouldn’t. His brother is the king, and his sister-in-law Bonny is scary. Blaze’s last screw-up got him grounded, unable to shift into his dragon form. His punishment seems harsh to him, but there’s no escaping it.

Then the Love fairies come to the castle to work on forming an alliance. Blaze has about had it with guarding the horny beings, and he’s disappointed that they don’t stay small and cute. He almost commits a major faux-pas when he swats at something buzzing him, and it turns out to be a fairy on a dragonfly.

And from that snarky meeting, something wonderful, and dangerous, will come.

Review: This is the first book in the Fire and Flutter series.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a magical journey with beautiful scenery and deadly adversaries. Blaze is a dragon shifter who has had his ability to shift and breathe fire taken from him as punishment by the queen. He is tasked to take care of the fairies when they come to form an alliance. He meets Griff, a fairy who had his winged ripped from him in an awful way and was seriously injured. As a result he has memory problems.

I really felt for Griff. He seemed so lost and miserable at times yet fierce at others. Blaze seemed sarcastic and humorous and immediately fell for Griff and vice versa. These two go on an amazing journey in search of Griff’s wings. Along the way they meet Grlind, an Orc who was purged from his group and Jade, Storm King, whose kingdom is in the middle of a coup.

The whole story was wonderfully written and transports the reader into a fantasy world where all is not as it seems. There is laughter, suspense, mystery, deception and two individuals finding each other and themselves in the process. I truly was spellbound throughout and on the edge of my seat as the mystery surrounding Griff was unveiled.

I highly recommend this fantastic story. You won’t be disappointed. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series.

Review: His Majesty, King Ferdinand Augustus Maxos III, and his six four Knaves, Jayde, Sol, Raven, Ingigo, Shimmer, and Ochre all dragon shifters, escape after a ruthless enemy takes everything from Max to another world to regroup and strategize their next move to take back what rightfully belongs to Max. Max, even though he is saddened by the traitor, he was still strong and sure, I liked that.

I truly loved this wonderfully written story. The details of Agion were simply breathtaking. The creatures described there were exotic and immense compared to the others.

I loved how Alpha Myre, a gigantic feline shifter, welcomed them in his clan despite the danger to his people. Thyrus, the man who is the reason for Max’s lose, I can’t stand. He seems power-hungry, bloodthirsty, sadistic and will stop at nothing to gain what he wants even murder.

Fascinating with a lot of hot sex between Max and his dragon Knaves along with an awesome plot and battles made this story a fantastic read that keeps the reader’s attention from start to finish with the right amount of danger, suspense and love.

Absolutely loved it and highly recommend it…

Blurb: How far is Cody willing to go to keep his dragon?

Kirit is lonely and he’s sick of coming home from the king’s assignments to a cold, empty cave. After searching for years for a mate, Kirit decides it’s time to try a new approach. Against the advice of all his friends, he heads for the human side of the world. There he finds Cody, and the man is everything he could ever want. It takes a little bit of persuasion, but he manages to talk Cody into coming back with him to Faerie.

Within a week of arriving, Cody is beginning to rethink his impulsive decision. He’s trekked across more terrain than he would care to remember, been summoned to meet a king, and flown on a dragon—not an experience he’s willing to repeat anytime soon. Kirit’s growly possessiveness is starting to wear on his nerves, and the unexpected hostility he encounters at the palace is almost enough to make him give up.

But Cody is stubborn. He may not be willing to admit it out loud, but Kirit has got under his skin. He may even, shockingly enough, love the big guy.
Now Cody has to decide what he’s willing to do to keep the man of his dreams.

Review: This is the first book in this series and I can tell from the first paragraph that it was going to be an amazing read and I was right. It gave me a world full of fantasies that were just perfect. I love the paranormal worlds a lot more than just a normal romance story because it seems that so much more thought went goes into it. This is about amazing dragon shifters and a fae court. There is a mixture of different types of paranormals in this book. I love that even though Cody was a rent boy, he still seems to have not lost that zeal of life. He is just trying to pay the rent and bills so he sells his body to do it. However, he had decided for a break, seems that even he was getting tired of the same old same old. Hiding behind a dumpster in the alley, taking a break from the problems around him Cody was found by Kirit. A very sexy man with an attitude and a quirky way of talking.

Kirit was tired of living in a world without a mate, so he decides to go to earth and search for his one and only. Although dragons can have many choices, they get a sense from one by their scent, however due to a fight Kirit had lost that part of him, so he has to wait for a pull of some sort. He had at first decided to use a witch to help him find his mate, but surprise he finds it while out walking from a club. He felt the pull to take this man. He is of an old world standing so when Cody talks most of the time he has no idea what he is saying.

Once Cody accepts, he whisks him back through the portal to his world. Only to find himself and his mate stuck at the palace, because the king wanted to meet Cody. They get stuck there when a council was going to come there to court. Shemas wanted Kirit’s help with them. What they had not expected was it was all a test to see if Cody could handle it. With Cody’s quirky attitude, he was well-loved by many, even fighting his own battles when needed. The only problem was a dragon wants to always be the hero so he had to fix that part of it.

This story is funny and I pretty much laughed through the whole book. Every time someone said something it would be answered with, I don’t understand that. It was a recurring joke for all of them. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. It is a quirky little story and I was amazed to find out that I read it in one setting. I would recommend this story to anyone who loved the paranormal worlds, dragons, sexy men, and hot sex. Bring on book two because I can’t wait to read it.

Review: This is the first time reading Astrid’s stories and I can honestly say that she has a hit on her hands. It was an amazing read with its mystical ways. I loved the idea of one of the main characters being a unicorn and the fact that he had overcome being outcaste by his family for wanting to play music.

Tirian no longer had strong magic due to the fact that his horn had been broken as a sign of disgrace. He wanted to make music not war and was punished for it. He did however have a love for life. He is kind, gentle, and very protective of his mate. A mate that had been hurt by his one and only lover in such a way that should have killed him. Adam was scarred on the outside but also on the inside. He was afraid to trust any man, but when he came across Tirian, he knew what he needed to do. He needed to trust this man and give him his heart. Adam is a loving man who has a heart of gold. You can’t help but love these two men and wish them the happiness they deserve. Not to mention the sex between them will light your fires. The light keeps the darkness away when they are together. Tirian will protect Adam with his life. There is much love in this story.

Astrid has an amazing gift for telling stories. I love the way it came together and the way it was told. It was told in such a serious tone but it did have a bit of humor to it. It caught my attention from the start and kept my attention to the very end. I want more from this author and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Blurb: Confessor Isak is charged with the task of forcing Sain to confess his sins of murder and witchcraft before inevitable execution. Torturing in the name of the Divine is difficult enough, but the process is nothing new to him, and he is confident he can affect Sain’s salvation. This time is different, though, when he begins to feel Sain’s seductive magic takes hold of him. Suddenly, Isak isn’t at all sure it will be Sain who breaks under pressure to find release.

Review: As much as I like fantasy stories, witchcraft and a plot with dubious consent, I believe this one didn’t hold much interest for me. The plot was fairly transparent; you know from the blurb and the beginning of this short what will happen. So as I tried to let myself enjoy the ride, (see I don’t really mind knowing the plot beforehand) I found it a bit bland, a bit flat.

Sain is a witch accused of murdering his Master by unnatural means, aka magic, Isak is a Witch-Confessor tasked to salvage his eternal soul, and the logical step therefore is either Isak breaks him in the process, or Sain bewitches him and gets to escape his life.

There are things that made me raise an eyebrow here. For example, Sain never confesses or denies killing his former master. Through half-truths, we understand he is guilty. He also proceeds to tell Isak that he is what he is and can’t ask for forgiveness about it, it would be like apologizing for living and breathing (yes that part I liked). What made me wonder was Isaks’ entire behavior and his seduction that never really materialized. The creepy pervert in me was so set upon  reading this story as it promised dark and vile tortures heavily linked to the Spanish Inquisition’s ones what with the Pear of Anguish making a slight appearance. I was frankly disappointed that so many wicked devices were introduced yet never made it to the spotlight, besides the little lash. And even when the lashing was performed the emotional state, the intensity in which it should have left me as a reader, the agony for the poor witch, was never there. In general, this story failed to make a connection with me at all times. I failed to feel the eroticism of the seduction, I failed to see Isak’s torment at losing touch with his faith, and I failed to see the agony and desperation of imminent death and/or torture, the aftermath of it. When finally Isak makes his mind and acts upon his decision, I felt no relief, no joy, or even comprehend the why on earth he’d do such a stupid thing, for his feelings never felt strong enough to require such thing.

So overall, this was a bit of a stilted read that could have been much more. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t love it either.
