Blurb: Noah has suppressed his urges for other men for years, but when a sexy bartender comes crashing into his life, all bets are off.

Due to his career as a lawyer and his father’s strict ways, Noah has always ignored the side of him that craves the touch of another man, not wanting to upset the calm waters of his life. But when he’s out one night celebrating his friend’s first win in a courtroom, Noah is taken aback by the raw lust that consumes him when he meets Shea. He wants to ignore what he feels for the man, but when Shea introduces a tantalizing side of sex that Noah has been dreaming of, he finds it impossible to keep Shea out of his life.

Shea’s been heartbroken before by a man who wouldn’t come out of the closet for him, and he doesn’t think he can go through that again. Can Noah let go of his fears of coming out to the world? Will the pleasures Shea gives him in the bedroom have Noah seeing what really matters in the long run?

Review: The author did a good job on this story, and I like it, but was somewhat puzzled, at the way the part of the BDSM section was just injected into the storyline, without it even being talked among them as it being a part of their sexual preference. Noah is attracted to men, and have been for years, but he doesn’t want anyone to know, so he hides behind the women that he hook up with, so his secret won’t be revealed. He was in a relationship with a guy in college, and when his dad found out about it, he was read the riot act, that with his family name and prestige, he shouldn’t be carrying on like that to sully the family’s name.

Noah and his best friend are out one night at a bar celebrating his friend’ first courtroom case, he’s at the bar waiting to order his drinks, when he sees the bartender, and has an instant attraction for the guy, but he tries to shrug it off. It doesn’t happen, as he secretly spies on him all during the night that he’s at the bar. Shea is an out and gay man, and he refuses to go back into the closet for anyone. He was in love with a guy years ago, and was hurt badly, when the guy denied they relationship.

Days go by, and Noah is still thinking about Shea, debating with himself, if he should go ahead and approach Shea, and what would happen when his family and best friend find out. Noah and Shea finally hook up, and the sex is steamy hot, and everything that Noah has been missing in his life. Will his feelings for Shea finally convince him to live his life without worrying about others opinions, or will he forever continue to live the rest of his life hiding who he is.

I would recommend this short story for anyone looking for a quick read with a little BDSM.

Blurb: Zane has everything in his life under control and in order, but can he keep it that way when a young dragon is thrown into his life?

Zane was meant to be a warrior—end of story. Though he may not have had the most pleasant life living at the coven, he still loved being there. But the steadiness of his world came to a halt all within one day’s events. A man he never saw coming has pushed the boundaries of what little normalcy he has, and learning of a secret love is just confusing him even more. Zane has never felt more torn on what he should be feeling…and for whom. Though if he assumed having two men plaguing his every waking thought was hard enough, learning of the danger his mother is in nearly has his head spinning off into another dimension.

The leader of the Dráguns is threatening to take everything away from him, his best friend is slipping further and further away from him, and a little dragon is managing to get under his skin in more ways than one. Sorting out what he has to do, what he wants, and what’s right for him will be the biggest challenge he’s ever been faced with. Will he follow his heart or will he take the easy path…or is the easy path the right path to begin with?

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Zane has fought hard to be the warrior he is, hiding a part of himself from his fellow vampires he has proven himself worthy of being in their ranks, but meeting his mate Bo throws everything into the light. Boer is a dragon, kidnapped by the vampires to discover Gravaick’s secrets but Bo is only a cook and has no knowledge to give, meeting Zane is a shock but things get harder when Bo’s brother comes to rescue him. With Zane in turmoil over some devastating news and heading out for battle, Bo isn’t sure of the bond they share and with one of the coven-turning traitor can they come out the other side stronger?

We are firmly in Pavarus and the trouble between the Vampires and the Dráguns in this installment of Finding Home, with repercussions for past deeds being felt and devastation being left in its wake. Zane and Bo are the couple who discover a bond, a bond that shouldn’t be possible, with them being on opposite sides by birth but unable to deny what they feel. Zane’s predicament and secret are discovered with Larken being devastated by the turn of events. Bo is left reeling when his brother Nikolai admits family secrets and Aliam can’t pull himself out of his despair and making decisions that are unwise.

I really love the way this series is developing and the twists we are treated to, although Zane and Bo’s relationship came as a surprise, because I was secretly hoping that Zane would get together with Larken, it adds a nice bit of angst and heartache. The storyline gives us some surprises with all the previous couples getting into the mix and contributing, they never overpower though, being blended in well so we never forget that even with everything that is happening it is still Zane and Bo’s story. It is far from an easy relationship, not only because Bo is a dragon and Zane is a vampire, but also because of the new developments and the existing problems with Gravaick.

The characters are written brilliantly, each of them affecting you as you see from their eyes, we have Zane who has done what he has to prove himself and has pushed hard. We have Bo who feels pulled between his new mate and his loyalty to his Drágun brother. We have Larken who longs for his love to be returned and we feel his devastation as he is ignored for another. Then there is Damien who has nothing but contempt for Zane and wishes he could make things better for Larken. We have Aliam who just can’t get over his loss and bitter revenge drives him. Each character brings a wealth of feeling to this story and it really carries you along as the storyline heats up toward battle and betrayal.

I recommend this to those who love paranormal worlds, battling factions, a brilliant developing storyline, great characters, twists, finding love in difficult circumstances and much more to come in the future.

Blurb: Keddrick has denied claiming his mate for four years, separating them by worlds just to keep the man he loves safe…from him. Can he resist temptation when his love lands on his doorstep in need of help?

Eli has lusted after Keddrick from the moment the vampire stepped through the portal and into Earth. He had desperately wanted to go with Keddrick when the man returned to Pavarus, but it wasn’t allowed—not to mention Eli was under the impression that Keddrick was straight. Four years later his wish has come true, but not in the way he wanted. Barely escaping death by the hands of Wayland, head of the human council on Earth, Eli flees to Pavarus in search of help. The line of events that get him there release a hidden secret deep inside of him he never knew existed, and would soon change his life forever.

Keddrick’s restraint towards Eli is being seriously tested, and every day Eli stays with him at the coven, the harder it gets. He wants to keep his distance, but at the same time he wants to do everything he can to please Eli. Yet as time goes on, he feels his resolve slowly crumble, his love for the man too strong to ignore. When Keddrick finds out about Wayland’s threat on his and Eli’s life, he is determined to stop the madman anyway he can, even if that means going against Eli’s pleas for him not to.

Through blood and tears, years of love and moments of betrayal, can these two men find their way through the hardships and into a life of happiness in each other’s arms?

Review: This story is part of a series and best read in order. Eli fell in love the first second he laid eyes on Keddrick, but Keddrick was from Pavarus and only visiting for a month and anyway Eli is sure the sexy vampire is straight. After being attacked by the head of the human council, Wayland, Eli flees to Pavarus grievously injured.  He hides the truth behind the attack from Keddrick and when Keddrick discovers the truth, it drives a wedge between them. Keddrick has denied his feelings for Eli to keep Eli safe, but Eli isn’t so understanding when he finds out Keddrick is his mate.  But, first they both have to face the threat from Wayland, before they can resolve anything between them.

I strongly recommend that you all read Pavarus before this story as there are characters and storyline links to that story. Keddrick has denied his mate Eli because of a recurring nightmare and to keep him safe from the dangers of Pavarus.  When Eli appears on Pavarus, injured and near death, it shakes Keddrick to his foundations and it is harder to resist the urge to claim Eli as his mate. Eli ends up having more on his plate than he counted for, when he recovers from his wounds.  He protects Keddrick by hiding the truth, but the truth comes out and Keddrick, Remus and Zane head to Earth to put an end to the danger… expecting Eli and Wes to wait for them.

I really am enjoying this series with its parallel world and Vampires and Dragons, the simple explanation for humans and Earth and the brilliant characters that we are introduced to. In this installment it is Keddrick and Eli’s turn to come together.  With each of them trying to protect the other from danger, discovering what the other has hidden and both of them feeling betrayal. They are perfect for each other and are a good fit.  They strike sparks off each other and clash and inadvertently cause each other pain, but they are each trying to do the right thing.

The storyline is really good and I loved how it played out, Jennifer Wright doesn’t pull her punches either so watch out for Jones. I love all the characters in this series and the way they work together, with the author weaving each character in so we get to know them and want their stories.  I really can’t wait to read Zane and Larken’s story and I am hoping that Damien will get his own book.  I also really want Aliam to have some happiness, even if it is just finding peace. It was nice to see Wes and Remus and having them interacting with Keddrick and Eli without being overpowering, Ms Wright mixed them in nicely.

I will recommend this to those who love parallel worlds, vampires, a mad human bent on domination, two hot men working out their problems, danger, hot sex and a happy ending with the promise of more to come.
