Blurb:   Eighteen-year-old Archer couldn’t protect his best friend, Vivian, from what happened when they were kids, so he’s never stopped trying to protect her from everything else. It doesn’t matter that Vivian only uses him when hopping from one toxic relationship to another-Archer is always there, waiting to be noticed. Then along comes Evan, the only person who’s ever cared about Archer without a single string attached. The harder he falls for Evan, the more Archer sees Vivian for the manipulative hot-mess she really is. But Viv has her hooks in deep, and when she finds out about the murders Archer’s committed and his relationship with Evan, she threatens to turn him in if she doesn’t get what she wants… And what she wants is Evan’s death, and for Archer to forfeit his last chance at redemption.

Review:  I have to admit, Hushed was pretty awesome. I absolutely loved this novel! Now, Hushed stars Archer Pond. Archer is a very special kid. Why? He is a serial killer.

I loved Archer with his flaws. The reason why he was killing people wasn’t justifiable. It was more of a private vendetta against a group of assholes that ruined his best friend’s life and his life in the process. His best friend is Vivian. I pitted her so much, but at the same time, I hated her because she was the reason why Archer went mad with rage. Archer’s plan was going great until Evan showed up.

I loved Evan! He was Archer’s voice of reason and the only one that proved to Archer that he really cared. Evan guided him in the right path and showed him the light. This story is very dramatic and very entertaining. The ending was tragic, so be prepared.

I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read a very psychotic young novel that will keep you in the edge of your seat, wanting more
