Review: Damn this was just as good as book three. Although I will still say that I don’t see the point in having the characters doing drugs, it just brought it down for me. This story is book four in this series and I must say that you should read them in order.  It would give you a back ground into these guys. Although for me I started with book three, because the first two books are just in print which sucks.

It has been three years since Colin took off, leaving Frank and Scotty alone. Scotty missed him but things were getting better. That is until Doc committed suicide, people were dying, a missing stone that was linked to extreme evil and Scotty’s life is about to get more intense. Frank was gone learning how to be a wrestler and he was left alone to deal with life. Then a shock happens, he walks in to his family home and can you believe, there is Colin sitting as he pleased.

Now there are parts of the story I absolutely love but I still hate the damn book. I can’t believe Greg would write a story and then break your heart in the end. Now once you get into the story let’s just say the mystery starts right off the bat and will keep you involved the whole way there. There are so many damn twists to this story that it will give you a blasted headache just trying to figure them out. Not to mention laughing your ass at some parts, for example the Ninja Lesbian’s. Frank’s reaction to Colin being back, I think there would have been just a bit more bloodshed. Although Frank’s admission might get him his own ass kicked by Scotty.

Now for me I love a good romance, but in these stories the romance is a bit left out which actually worked for these stories. The mystery itself was pretty cool but did have a few problems with it. Although keeping the characters straight was my main problem. Other than that the story rocked.

If you like a very action packed story, with murder, missing religious relic, danger, excitement and our very own sexy trio, then this is for you. Although I have to say that I wished the author would let our Colin stay home with the guys, their hearts break every time he leaves and quite frankly I think it brought the book down in points for me. However that is just me. I would definitely recommend this story.

Blurb: It’s Carnival time in New Orleans, and Scotty Bradley, ex go-go boy turned private eye, is looking forward to relaxing with his boyfriends, Frank and Colin, and partying it up right. But nothing ever seems to work out the way Scotty wants it. Not only is it cold and rainy, ruining his elaborate costume plans, but former FBI agent Frank has “issues” with dropping a hit (or two, or four) of Ecstasy. Hello! Ecstasy at Mardi Gras is practically guaranteed in the Gay Bill of Rights! Fortunately, Frank gets over himself, the weather clears up, Scotty’s dealer, Misha, delivers the goods, and the boys are off to the races. And that’s when the real fun begins. After a night of partying, they come home to find the cops waiting for them. Misha has apparently been murdered and guess who was the last person to see him alive? Turns out his wheeling and dealing had gotten him in trouble with a lot of people–including the Russian mob. And those guys don’t play around.

Suddenly, Scotty’s missing not just one but two boyfriends. And as the streets of Nola come alive in a hot human frenzy of sequins, music, dancing, and the sweat of thousands of revelers ready to throw caution and clothing to the wind, Scotty is in a desperate race to save the men he sometimes loves and keep Fat Tuesday from being the last day any of them ever see. . .

Review:  The first thing I am going to say is you really need to read these books in order. However the first two are not ebooks so I had to start with book three. This is my first time reading something from this author, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I picked them because of their titles and figured what the hell.

The first problem came with the fact that you have three sexy men who are together, and they can still sleep around. That is a big no in my book which brought it down for me.  The second was the drug use and the fact that one of the guys is a federal agent, so that brought the story down even further for me. I don’t do cheating, even if it is allowed and absolutely no drugs.  So here I am thinking this was not a good idea for me. However the story was very detailed and very authentic sounding. It was also unique and entertaining for me.

I was once told that when a story makes you so damn angry that you want to just smack the author, then it is one hell of a story.  So Greg if you’re reading this, I am going to smack you one of these days. Scotty is an ex go-go dancer, fitness teacher who is now one hell of a private eye.  It was what got the attention of two sexy men.  Frank is a federal agent and Colin was masade. This story is full of twists and turns that will drive you absolutely out of your mind.

Now as I said before I don’t like drugs in my story however it is what gives this story the twist.  It seems that Scotty gets his drugs from Misha, who isn’t actually Misha. Misha is married to a family friend, but then again there is another twist. So when Scotty’s dealer gets killed, it leads our guys into a very strange family affair. Scotty was the last one to see him, so you can guess where that leads. Then Frank disappears which sends him into a spin, then Colin disappears and boom there is another twist.

It seems Scotty has a gift that warns him of danger; however it doesn’t keep him out of trouble. He is now in the middle of a big ass mess. Like I said the ending made me hate this story in such a way that it rated pretty damn high. If Greg’s stories are all like this then I am pretty sure that I will have to go out and get them. Although I won’t be able to read the first two unless they are turned into e-books, but it made me miss just a bit more into their history.

It is an action pact story, with murder, drugs and family secrets coming out. The sex, what there is was pretty damn good. Although I was glad for it in a way, there is more mystery there then sex. Over all the story was pretty damn good and I can’t wait to see what the next book has going on. It is one that I would recommend to all.

Portland, Oregon, aka Hotlandia, where the coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries are ready to serve everything piping hot, fresh, and ready to go—like the hard-working, hard-bodied men behind the counters—with no reservations…

Sure, Chris O’Neal has problems. His restaurant is still co-owned by his ex. His flannel-and-tattoos style is making him accidentally trendy. He can’t remember the last time he went out and had fun. But he’s not lonely, he’s driven. And the hot bakery delivery boy is not his problem, no matter how sweet his buns.

Chris is old enough to know Lance Degrassi’s sculpted good looks and clever double entendres spell nothing but trouble. Lance is still in college—he should be hitting the clubs and the books, chasing guys his own age, not pursuing some gruff motorcycle-riding workaholic. Especially when he’ll be leaving for grad school in a few months. But Lance keeps hanging around, lending a hand, charming Chris to distraction. Maybe some steaming hot no-strings indulgence won’t hurt.

Then again, maybe it will…

Each book is connected by the city, and are all standalone
