Private Investigator Russ Morgan solves cases, using more than his wits.

Enigma

Who’s blackmailing the high-profile televangelist whose son was miraculously cured of his homosexuality many years ago? Threatening letters using old Enigma songs from the 90’s have got Reverend Howard Richardson spooked. Psychic Denver PI Russ Morgan uncovers obscene secrets shrouded in seeming righteousness, but must make peace with a sword of justice that cuts the innocent as well as the guilty.

Blood & Dirt

When Russ Morgan investigates a vandalized marijuana grow in Mesa County, he lands in the middle of a family feud that escalates into murder. Who is willing to go that far to get what they want? Russ’s personal life is escalating, too—he has to figure out if he’s brave enough to begin a relationship with Colin Stewart, who is half his age.

And somewhere out there in the city of Vancouver, there’s the right man for his dad to love. But how to find him? That’s a problem, especially if you’re just a kid and your dad says he doesn’t want another husband.

With the help of his quirky aunt, Shanna, who calls herself a Buddhist Wiccan, Howie builds his very own solstice altar with cool symbols to support his search. It has a candle, a feather, and a twisty stick, plus an agate for his dad, and a scallop shell for his new husband. Share Howie’s solstice adventure as he learns how real magic requires courage and patience as well as symbols.

Review: Howie wants his father happy.  With the help of his aunt, he has set up a little table with some symbols and he makes a big wish.  His father needs a new husband, and with Howie making the wish, it just might come true.

This is a very cute little story told in Howie’s voice.  It is way too small and just gives you a taste of what it could truly be, but it is still fun to read.  It is one of those true love stories with no real action or drama, but then again Howie is only eight years old.  He is so freaking cute and made the story even better.  I can’t say I would read this more than once but I did have fun with it.

Blurb: Family squabbles can be murder.

Psychic PI Russ Morgan investigates a vandalized marijuana grow in Mesa County Colorado, landing in the middle of a ferocious family feud that’s escalating in a hurry. Five siblings fight over the family ranch as it staggers on the brink of bankruptcy, marijuana its only salvation. Not everyone agrees, but only one of them is willing to kill to make a point.

Russ also has a personal puzzle to solve as he questions his deepening relationship with Colin Stewart, a man half his age. His rational mind says being with Colin is the fast track to heartbreak, but it feels grounding, sane, and good.

Now, that’s really dangerous

Review: This is part of an ongoing series that needs to be read in order.

It is a mystery and suspense that really has a bit of the paranormal in it. Which for me topped this book over the charts. It is well written with a lot of depth that makes it an amazing story. It doesn’t let you down half way, but keeps your attention all the way through.

Russ and Colin have been together for a while now, however Russ seems to think it should be going wrong. It seems that he can see pretty well into other people’s lives but not his own. His new case involves a family that can make a crazy family look sane. He is trying to find out who is vandalizing the Ellis ranch and he is coming up with quite a bit of answers.

I love Russ and hope to hear his story for a long time from now. He is like how you want a man to be. Sexy, best attitude, honest, straightforward and a damn good psychic. Now I am never much for mysteries, but the fact that this has romance added in makes it perfect. I also love the twist that this story has.

When I first read Lloyd  A Meeker’s books, I was captivated from the start and this is no different. I can actually see myself reading it more than once.

It has reached my favorite list and I look forward to reading more by this amazing author.
