Review: I loved this entire book. It was well written and a smooth read. Loved the way Josiah, a dominant and enforcer, always came to Rafe’s, a submissive, defense, and showed him how a true dominant treats their submissive. I couldn’t believe the deceit that was done to Rafe by the head of his house and a cruel man who was a sadist.

Action packed as well as mysterious at times keeps the reader wanting to know more as the story progresses. Intense scenes that sometimes leave you cringing and wondering how someone could hurt anyone like that as well as scenes that leave you smiling.

It was simply an amazing story to read from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Highly recommended.

Blurb: Understaffed, overworked, and generally exhausted contractor Ricci DeAngelo still has to contend with a long subway ride at the end of each day. The last thing he expects is to fall head long into a relationship while dozing on the train. But that’s exactly what happens when a sexy and equally exhausted stranger falls asleep on his shoulder one night.

Ricci’s nap partner ends up being Layton Callis, an equally overworked pâtissier who looks and smells good enough to eat. When they unexpectedly fall into a routine of napping together on the late train, Ricci finds himself in a unique position. He can continue only seeing Layton during the week and spending his weekends in a sleepless mess. Or Ricci can step up and see if he can get Layton to agree to wake up next to him on a more permanent basis.

Review: The premise of this story is simple adorable. What’s not to love about two men who are both so exhausted that they literally fall into and onto each other night after night on the train. So many relationships are built on lust – instead both these working men find each other each night and exchange some basic pleasantries before falling asleep together.  The most intimate thing one person can do with another is to share their personal space and sleep together (not sex, actual sleep).  These men build a relationship in the late hours when guards and inhibitions are down.

They eventually find that whenever they do not sleep together, they do not sleep well and so they move their relationship from the train to an actual home where the intimacy they began continues and they find that they can build their relationship into more.

This is a story about two hardworking guys who meet and find that they are very compatible. This is the way that many relationships begin, simple and innocuous.  It gives the regular guy hope that he can find his Romeo too.

Very sweet story. Excellent plotline and the characters of Ricci and Layton are lovely.

Blurb: Declan Adair and his twin brother Lachlan are wolf shifters with no home or pack and a dark past that makes them hated by other Weres. Hunted and forced to separate, Declan finds himself chased north and straight into Flathead, a large sprawling territory that is home to a single massive pack.

Unsure and more afraid than he wants to admit, Declan’s situation is only made worse by his undeniable attraction to the Flathead pack’s alpha, Law.

Law is everything an alpha should be: powerful, controlled, and surprisingly enough to Declan—kind. And when Law seems to want Declan just as much as Declan wants Law, it’s unbelievable. With a past full of hurt and the knowledge that the only one he can trust is his twin, Declan is torn between the way he knows the world works and the possibility that the alpha’s ardor might just be real.

Review: Declan and his twin Lachlan are wolf shifters on the run from other shifters and from human hunters. managing to stay one step ahead of both groups until the day they are separated and Declan runs on to Flathead land. Flathead Alpha, Law, is intrigued by the sexy shifter that is chased onto his land. He offers sanctuary for the persecuted shifter, but trust is hard for Declan and he wonders what payment is expected of him. Their attraction to each other blurs the lines and Declan doesn’t know what to do and there is no way he will lead his brother to danger.

This is quite a good shifter story where alphas control their land with an iron fist and a young shifter is persecuted for something he had no control over. Declan and his brother Lachlan have not had a peaceful life, so when Declan stumbles across an Alpha who seems to sympathize, he doesn’t know if he can really trust him and his attraction to Law distracts him. But, he won’t chance his brother’s safety in case it is a trap. Law is attracted to the young shifter who is chased onto his land. He understands that Declan had no control over what happened when he was younger and would like nothing better than to have Declan and his brother settle down in his pack.

I really liked how this story was written, with Declan being suspicious and expecting the worst. the way that Law is patient and gentle with Declan and the way that they both take their time getting to know each other before they commit to a relationship. The story is quite simple. Two brothers all alone in the world persecuted for something they had no control over and now unwilling to trust and an Alpha who desperately wants that trust. The story is well written and the characters are good. We seem to be getting the basics in ready for the next book as well for Trace (Law’s brother and beta) and Lachlan. I do wish that there had been more detailed background of Declan and Lachlan’s time in captivity rather than the broad overview we got, I would have also liked to discover more about Law and the type of man he is, rather than just Declan’s view of him. We know that he was nice to Declan and that people seemed to respect him, but that was really it.

I will recommend this to those who love paranormal, shifters, some sweet hot sex, an interesting storyline and a happy ending that paves the way for the next story.

Blurb: Romance on the Go

When vice cop Gentry Trecall is informed that he’s going to be going undercover as a hooker, thanks to the city’s latest bid to crack down on prostitution, he’s skeptical but resigned. What he doesn’t expect is to encounter someone like Dublin MacAulay, the owner of the popular night club The Pale that just so happens to be right across the street from the corner Gentry has been assigned.

Dublin’s unlike anyone Gentry’s ever met before. He gruff and sincere, trying to get him off the street. An unspoken attraction lingers between the two, but the truth about Gentry’s profession is the only thing that keeps it at bay.

When the truth finally does come out will Dublin be able to forgive Gentry for the lie he’s had to tell? Or will his undercover work lose Gentry the lover of his dreams?

Review: In this short story we meet Gentry, an undercover cop for Vice. His cover identity is that of a hustler and everything goes better than expected until Dublin, owner of the night-club across from Gentry’s post, shows up.

At first Gentry and his partner think he’s a potential client, but Dublin surprises them by offering Gentry a jacket and some food and telling him to leave his post before he calls the cops on him. Same goes the next night and the one that follows. Only the cops are never called. Gentry’s undercover arrests grow in numbers and a strange friendship is born between him and Dublin. Dublin’s insistence to help the poor “hustler” with no means in life makes Gentry realize that this man is one to keep. if there weren’t the lies he’s forced to tell Dublin in order not to blow his cover.

I loved this short. It was greatly written, with a sense of humor behind the lines that makes the read irresistible, characters that were funny and charming each in his own way and a plot that was just about perfect for the length of the read.

Gentry is the twinkish kind that, while born in a family of cops, had a strong relation with his father and brother and an acceptance that is almost dreamy. That’s a reason for him to follow on their footsteps and become a cop. ready to do his job and stand his ground when his young and “fairy” appearance brought some unwanted trouble. His hustler role is hilarious in some ways and quite convincing in others.

His partner Trent is a character that makes an appearance and is quite entertaining with his lines and teasing.

And Dublin, well my favorite of the bunch is a big bear of a sweet man who has you instantly wrapped around his little pinkie. When things get revealed, I wondered if the read would lead toward the melodramatic and disappoint with stereotypes, but thankfully it turned to be quite the opposite.

And as the blurb says this is a romance on the go and is perfect as a quick fix that will bring you a healthy dose of sweet, sexy and even hot feelings. Recommended.
