Review: Nigal and Mikkal found each other many years ago and died together. Their deaths were brutal and harsh, but they knew that they would find each other again. Many years have passed but it was not always a good life. Cage had lived pretty much in a cage. His adoptive family should have been shot for what they put that child through. Now the time has come.

Mikkal has found his mate once more. To bad he was on the run from those who wanted him dead. He had been framed and needed to prove that he was not the guilty one. He saves his mate only not to realize it right off the bat. His hiding spot has been found and those after him were coming.

It was hard to get engaged with this book. It was a slow paced story that just didn’t catch my attention like it should have. I am not really a fan of death and bringing back to life again. It is just a bit creepy but also I guess kind of sweet. To be designed for each other, then to loose each other only to come back again to find each other. But these two seemed to have had a harsh life their entire time is a bit too much for me. I liked the characters quite a bit but their story just didn’t work for me. I could not keep my attention on it like I should have. The story had great potential but seemed a bit off to me.

I will admit that this story is not one of those that will be read more than once. There just wasn’t enough spark in the story to keep it going. For now I hate to say it, this story just wasn’t for me.

Review: Each book in Return of the Originals collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Aeryn can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Aeryn.

There is something about the way that Aeryn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect the ones they love with all that they have. I had a blast reading this story.

Killa is one of the originals. He was a drashers. Basically he was a big reptile when he changed shapes. He was also one of the biggest players known, which is funny because he is being taken down by a little wolf. He had sex with the cutie, and then basically pushed him out of bed. If he had his head on straight he would have known sooner, that the cute and sexy little wolf was his mate. Now he had some major ass to kiss.

Keen had basically been abused most of his life by his own family. His new family saved him and brought him to their home. He was scared but also so damn brave that it would make your heart swell. At first he had thought Killa just didn’t want him like that, but once the big idiot realized what Keen was to him, well he has made up in spades.

Their sex life was extremely heated and so much fun. With a little kink added in, they were setting the sheets on fire. Now if only they could keep his evil family away from him. Killa would do everything in his powers to keep his little mate safe.

I had a blast reading it that is for sure. I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the others in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Aeryn puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a just a touch of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing and loving.

Gorgeous men, sexy shifters, excitement, action and danger is just a part of this story. I would recommend reading this book. Be ready for a late night.
