Review: Remington is one hell of a detective who has just been thrown into a case that was not what he had expected. A killer who is called the Professor just wanting to kill and find out how it felt to play with the body. And Grayson who works for the Federal Paranormal Unit but he is also a god. Sounds like a bad joke but Remington and Grayson are determined to find out who is behind this. While Remi is trying to keep his attention off Grayson.

This story was different. Remi is not only jaded but damn the man is cranky. He can also be a hard ass, but one kiss from Grayson and the steam just rolls all over. I am not really sure why it is called a paranormal story other than the fact that Grayson is a god and the first girl that was killed was a low level witch. They didn’t really do anything to make the paranormal part stand out in this story.

The killings and the fact that it was actually told from the killers voice was just a bit creepy. However like I said above the story was like some cop shows I have read with just a paranormal twists. I didn’t care for how fast and mushy Grayson was, for one he is god, yet he came off different. There was no word of matings, so I am guessing it was just sex and love. However it felt rushed to me. Remington was well defined in the story but you just hear parts of Grayson’s story, so that made the story rocky.

Now the story itself with the murders and the way the man just kept teasing them was pretty crazy and I actually found myself liking it. It had quite a bit of errors that I found, but lets just say that these authors would make a mint with murder stories. I would say that character development needs to be worked on. However as strange as it sounds I actually liked the story enough to read it twice before doing this review.

It doesn’t sound like it but I did like the story quite a bit. I hope we see more of the paranormal side of things in the next book.

Review: Remi is one hell of a detective but can he prove it when this new case starts getting started. A hooker is murdered which doesn’t cause much concern, that is until he reads the note. He has a reputation for getting the job done but this might mean he needs a bit of help. He just wasn’t the expecting that help to be so damn hot.

Grayson is part of the Federal Paranormal Unit however in truth he is so much more. When a witch is murdered it sends him straight to the one that he will make his. The press has named their killer Professor but in truth he is as crazy as they get.

I found plenty of good signs about this story but also some down sides to it. For one it comes really close to another’s work that makes me take a step back. Also the story don’t seem to flow as well as it should. There seemed to be many catches that caught my attention. Also the characters were not as appealing to me as they should have been. They needed more development to show their true potential. Lots of secrets but no hits on what they were. Never fully went in any direction with them. There were some grammar issues to the story that didn’t do it any justice. I didn’t feel the connection that the characters would or should normally have with each other. The case that they were dealing with was just to cheesy and didn’t shock me as it should have as well.

On the plus side it was entertaining and did give me a bit of a smile. I can say that it would be read many times over which is a major plus for me. I have not heard of these authors nor have I read any of their work so I will give them a chance before coming to a full conclusion on their work. As for this story it was pretty good but not shocking. I will hold out my final conclusion until he next book. Also I loved the cover for the book, made me want to look.
