Review: An intense, emotional, powerful story about Terrance who can see and speak to the dead. Unlike the last book, this time is more sinister. He’s dealing with not only someone calling out for help but having to battle the demons trying to prevent him from finding the truth.

I really enjoyed the whole book even though it was dark. I felt horrified at what was being done to those children. The details of Terrance’s dreams and visions were intense and scary. I think Terrance is a very strong young man to do what he does especially having been through what he did when he was a child.

Very well written journey of a man who does what he has to do to save a son he never knew he had no matter the cost. Fantastic book in The Severing series.

Highly recommended.
