Blurb: When Quinn, the Supreme Alpha of all the Nine Territories first sees a young man in the arena, he is struck by his beauty and by the fact that despite his chains, he’s barely contained. Quinn recognizes him almost at once as the human who led an assassination attempt on him just weeks before, yet when he tries to take him into custody, he’s shocked to find the human is his fated mate.

He has only one option to keep the council from executing the young man for his crimes—to make an example of Aaron, and to debase and degrade him as his love slave so that none of Aaron’s followers will celebrate him as a martyr or a hero.

Aaron is on a quest to find his brother, separated from him during the plague that devastated the population, killing seventy percent of all the humans on the planet. When he gets word that his brother is among the rebels, he joins them too, hoping to find him. Instead he gets caught up in a failed assassination attempt on the Supreme Alpha, a strong, powerful wolf shifter who now has Aaron right where he wants him–at his mercy.

Despite his growing attraction to Aaron, Quinn has to try to keep his heart from getting too involved, and when another assassination plot is uncovered, Quinn has to make a difficult decision. He must put Aaron aside despite his feelings for him and imprison him, even though the mating bond between them means Aaron will suffer and die without Quinn.

And when Aaron disappears and word gets back to Quinn that he’s dying, he has to take a leap of faith to bring him home and back to Quinn’s bed where he belongs.

Review: This is the first book in the Supremacy of Wolves series. This story takes place after a vicious plague wipes out most of the human population leaving the wolves, who were immune to it, in charge. I did not like the wolves’ attitude toward humans and what I’d consider forced breeding of the humans. From what I got out the story the wolves thought they were better than the humans and treated them like pets to be used as they saw fit with no regard to what the humans wanted. If they did not do as told they were punished like they were children.

While I liked the overall story I had a few problems with it as well. Number one being the way the wolves treated the humans. It seemed as though it was reversed as to what the wolves had gone through so why would they treat the humans the same? Number two, Alpha Quinn really pissed me off.

I thought since he was an intelligent Alpha he would have actually done research into the bombing that killed several wolves instead of watching a surveillance camera seeing one man on it and assuming this man was the mastermind behind the event.

The way Quinn treated Aaron was so over the top I wanted to slap him. Their first sexual encounter was forced and Quinn used his wolves’ skills to make Aaron compliant in the matter. Which really made me mad because he was trying to make an innocent man pay for someone else’s crimes.

The third problem I had was that wolves have heightened senses. So why on earth did the Alpha automatically believe Bobbi, a human house-servant, when she told him her and Aaron had an affair?

Seriously?

Aaron was always watched and if they had slept together like she claimed then Quinn should have smelled it on Aaron. Not to mention in another scene the Alpha smelled Aaron while he was on his way to the bedroom but yet he didn’t smell if Aaron had sex with Bobbi? Highly unlikely. That part had me shaking my head in bewilderment.

Even though those things bothered me I still enjoyed reading about each character in the book and what roles they played in the story. Some scenes were nail biting while others were sweet.

Quinn was a little too arrogant and cocky to the humans as he thought of human like they didn’t know how to take of themselves at all and needed a master.

I really felt bad for Aaron for being put in a position as a scapegoat for the person who actually committed the crime. I totally understood his defiance and anger at the wolves for his predicament. Especially when he had a very good reason for being part of the rebellion in the first place.

Well written and intriguing. Overall it was a good read but could have been a lot better. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Blaze, however, is fighting his own battle. Aden is due to birth a child, and despite Blaze’s six hundred years of being an Alpha, nothing has prepared him for his hardest challenge yet — how to become a father. His struggles are hurting the people he loves the most and threatening their bond.

The madman who kidnapped and tortured Aden still hasn’t been caught, and when the worst happens and their circle is broken, Blaze has to fight his biggest threat yet – his own inner weakness – an enemy against which his Alpha strength will be useless. Review: This book left me with a bittersweet feeling. I did not like everything that happened and how it all played out. That made it hard for me to write this review and most likely flavored it a bit
Blaze seemed to be the focus of this book. He had several things he needed to work through.

The first is being a father.

He has no idea how to do it and makes mistakes along the way when the child is born that alienates Aden. To lead this even farther events occur that leads him to hurt one of his mates. He goes off by himself and while distracted by his own emotional issues, gets captured himself in trouble with no way out.

Let me just say Madden is totally bat shit crazy. The things he plans to do to reach his goals are really sickening. Hell the things he does manage to do are sickening. Anyway, enough to say he left me feeling icky.

I do love the way Victoria Sue writes. There is so much descriptive wording that really allows me to visualize things as they happen. I really feel like I get pulled into the story as I read them. Even if I hate what is happening, I can still feel the characters emotions.

The sexual elements were very well done. And it was actually beautiful at times the love the mates show to each other. There was tenderness and caring in their touches. I really love how they all are together.

Throughout the book I never got the feeling of how everything was going to end. And I was totally shock. It left me reeling. I so did not see it coming. It left me feeling heartbroken. Even after it was all said and done and good things come of it, I still felt like something was missing.

I do appreciate the fact that I was left with the feeling that there is more to come. And that this is perhaps not the final ending. I really hope so.

I will be looking forward to the next book in the series.

They’d finally caught the madman who had been kidnapping, torturing and murdering submissives. Damon had knelt in that warehouse, clutching Oliver, the boy barely alive, and somehow in the weeks that followed Damon never seemed to be able to let him go.

Oliver is broken, in body, mind, and spirit. And for the first time since he brought him home from the hospital, Damon starts to question himself. Is he going to be enough for Oliver? If he can somehow find all the pieces of Oliver’s broken soul, will he be able to mend them? Or have the horrors that ripped through Oliver left too many holes for Damon to repair? And finally, if he tries and fails to put Oliver back together, will Damon be able to stop his own heart from shattering in the process?

Review: Callum rescues from Lee from a man claiming to be a Dom, but is really just a sadist ass with no limits. Lee is innocent in the way of BDSM and was lured into a scene at the club with the wrong person. Lee may be innocent but he knows what he wants and Callum makes him feel safe. Callum also knows what he wants, but he has his own doubts and issues to deal with.

This story is told completely from Callum’s point of view, so there is not much of an inner knowledge of Lee. But I actually liked how Lee was seen through Callum’s eyes. To Callum, Lee is simply adorable, and I agreed. I loved Lee. He was a mix of young and innocent, with a backbone of steel when needed. When Callum tries to back away from a relationship with Lee, Lee pushes for what he wants in order to keep Callum.

I think this is a story that someone will either hate or love. It has BDSM elements, but not perhaps what one expects. I personally enjoyed the step back from the standard. I liked the relationship that Callum and Lee build throughout the story. The sex was hot, the writing was well done, and I was happy with the ending. It had all the elements needed to make a satisfied reader.

I would look forward to reading more from this author in the M/M genre. There seemed to be an opening for another book with a few of the secondary cast. I would definitely read them.
