Review: Each book in Wolves’ Heat collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a paranormal romance involving two gorgeous men. This is the second book by Odessa that I have read and I am still not really sure if I actually like it or not. The title was what caught my attention and made me want to take a look. I love anything paranormal. The blurb made me a bit hesitant in reading it because it comes off a bit dark to me.

Wolf and Salvadore are my favorite so far. They seem more in tune with each other and are very hot together. Wolf is a watcher whereas Salvadore is human. These two just seem to click better than the others. Salvadore might be human but he has something about him that is a bit different from many humans. He can tell when someone lies to him, which rocks.

This story moved forward a bit more than the others but there is still something missing in it. The blurb actually gives some away but I would definitely say you can’t read this without reading the first books. Now, I am still not certain if I actually like this series or not, but it was a bit more interesting than the others. I am afraid though that my attention wavered quite a bit with this book and didn’t keep it like it should have.

The story line for these stories are a lot more intriguing and unique that I was surprised that the follow through was not perfect. I do want to see what the next book has in it, but I am not rushing into it. For the first time, I am just not sure about these books. They come off a bit rushed and the narratives of the characters are not developing like they should.

I will wait and see about the next book.

Review: This is the first book not only in this series, but of Odessa’s that I have read. It is a very good book, but there are some issues I had with it. The first is it comes off very dark to me and the second is that it is stiff. It doesn’t flow off the pages like I would like. It was also a bit hard to not only get into, but the desire to continue reading was not there.

Ian was searching for one of his friends. The woods are extremely dangerous and he was crazy doing this. He was also pretty sure that it was a set up. The shifters in the woods were violent, sex crazed and not even from this world. They go through a heat that can leave them dead and the person they are having sex with torn apart.

However he had to do it. He had to find his friend, Devon. So when the wolves got his scent, he was frightened and took off running. Then one wolf took the others down with very few words, except mine. Craig wanted to mate with him. Hot damn! He was in trouble.

Craig was an alpha and has found his heat mate, but he thought that Ian was also his life mate. Too bad Ian’s friends were the ones hunting them down. They are a very violent race, especially when there are no meds still to use to calm them. They had a lot of things to learn and one of them is how to keep his mate alive.

There are so many characters in this story that makes it a bit confusing to follow in parts. Also for the size of the book there is more meat to it than expected. I must admit that I did like the story altogether but it comes off a bit strange to me. I do look forward to reading book two, to see if it flows a little better than this one. It is a great beginning to an amazing series, but for me there were things missing.
