Blurb: On the Road: In order to come home, first you must leave it.

Deke Sommers knows staying with his boyfriend is a bad idea. Michael enjoys ménages just a little too much and often tries to get Deke to share someone with him. Deke is not interested. He gives Michael permission to occasionally enjoy them on his own as long as he’s safe and honest about it. Unfortunately, that’s not enough for Michael, and he surprises Deke by inviting a couple of friends to his apartment to play with him.

Deke does the only thing he can…he flees. Calling up his life-long friend, Dirk, who is traveling with his vampire lover, Deke asks for help. Dirk tells him to meet him in Stone Ridge. There, Deke once again sees Luther Caldwell, a wolf shifter he met over lunch in Las Vegas months ago and hasn’t been able to get out of his mind since. Except, Luther is straight, or in the closet, isn’t he?

When Luther is neither shy nor reticent upon their meeting, claiming they are mates, can Deke trust another dominant male?

Review: This is book twenty-five in this series and they need to be read in order. The characters for each story will be talked about just a bit in previous books. It also gives you an insight into their amazing world and lives. A world that you will find yourself captivated in. A world that I found myself wishing I were living in. How they stand up for each other and protect the ones that are not as strong as the alpha is.

The characters all come off as wonderful men that you would want to stand besides. Most of the shifters all come off as dominate but the mates are cared for. Although in a couple of books it is in fact the human mates that are the dominate ones.

Deke had just come out of an abusive situation. In fact, he downright fled to safety. His boyfriend was in to ménages and he was not. He had done some, but actually hated it. However his boyfriend hadn’t taken no for an answer and Deke ran. After contacting his friend, he headed to Stone Ridge.

Where he came across a man that he had not been able to get out of his mind the last time they had met.Luther was one sexy man, and Deke wasn’t too sure if he was straight or not. Luther had said that he had a daughter and had run for the hills.
Luther was a dominate shifter and afraid of what his daughter would say if she found out that he had a male mate. When the dangers come for Deke, Luther knew he would do anything to protect his mate.

I love this story, but then again when Charlie puts out a book, I am usually the first one to grab it. She gives you characters that will have you falling in love. This story has a serious tone to it, but it does have a bit of humor to it. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I would recommend reading this, if you love sexy men, strong shifters, gorgeous humans, excitement, a bit of adventure and dangerous situations.

Blurb: Out of the Cage: Sometimes, when something seems too good to be true, it isn’t.
When wolf shifter Yates Cruner helps save several humans from a dingo shifter pack using them as slaves, he doesn’t expect to find his mate among them. Oh, not one of the humans, but one of the surviving dingo shifters who has been beaten and abused just as much as the humans. It seems the dingo pack had one rule…I’m more dominant than you are. I can do whatever I want to you. Yates realizes his little mate has a long road of healing ahead, and most of it isn’t for physical wounds.
Aryen Fowles learned his place early in life, keep his head down, kneel at the other shifter’s feet, and do whatever they ask. If he did that, he could avoid being punished. When a group of strange shifters takes over the pack, the rules change. Aryen struggles to understand what’s expected of him. When one of the wolves offers him pleasures he’d never experienced before, he wonders if he could accept his offer at face value or was it too good to be true?

Review: This is book twenty-three in this series and they need to be read in order. It just makes for a better series when you do, although you can read them separate it is just easier to follow. It gives you a sense into their world and might give you a lead into who each character is especially the alpha’s. Yates is a wolf shifter who has been searching for his mate for quite some time. His alpha loaned him to another alpha to recognize some humans being held by dingo shifters. What they found were not only were the humans being used for slaves but also several of the dingo’s themselves. Including his mate Aryen.

Aryen was so used to knowing his place, that it would take some time for Yates to show him that he has a long road of healing to go through. Aryen had been tortured and raped over the time that they had him. He knew to keep his head down, kneel at the other shifter’s feet, and do whatever they were asked. When Yates saves him, Aryen doesn’t know what is expected of him.

They have a long road ahead of them, especially when one of the human females wants Aryen dead. She just won’t get it through her head that he was a victim also. Yates will do everything in his powers to keep his mate safe. Aryen has to learn to live again, to live free with a mate who loves him. You can tell the way they are together that there is a lot of love in them. There is even a hint of kink in this book. Even though Aryen is not a sub and Yates is not a Dom, you can see that there is just a hint of it.

It is an amazing book, although most of Charlie’s book are. She has a gift that just keeps on giving. A way to bring you into their world’s with just a few lines in a book. I am very glad to add this book into my library. I can guarantee that once you start reading this book you won’t be able to put it down till the very end. It is the perfect length to me, not to short and not a complete novel. I can sit down on the couch, with my legs tucked under me, a soda on one side of me, and the radio playing and just read this book. I loved it and I cannot wait till the next book comes out.

Review: This is part of a series and should be read in order. I love Charlie’s books. She always gives me a place to go when the real world gets hard to manage. She gives awesome characters and a wonderful world to lose yourself into. Edwin was a scientist, who did not experiment on shifters just rats. However, he works for the government and everyone knows the governments always lie. Byron was a wolf shifter and he was meeting with some government agents to come to some sort of agreement that the paranormal world will always stay secret. They would help with certain things, but that was all.

That is until Edwin and Byron meet, Byron can tell from Edwin’s scent that they are mated. However when he finds out that Edwin is a scientist he rejects his mate, only to realize a few hours later that he has made one hell of a mistake. His sister had been experimented on and he hated scientist, but it was his sister who had told him he was an idiot. He has a lot of making up to do with his mate.

When they find out that not all of the rats were actually rats but some of them were shapeshifting Edwin fears that Byron will leave him. Like I said, Byron has a lot to make up for and one of them is making Edwin fear this. And we all know what making up is like, very hot sex. Charlie always gives you the right amount of sexual tension and sex in her stories, but not so much that it is all you read. She gives you a great story line that has danger in it, touching scenes that might make you pout or cry, the love of two men who sometimes make you want to smack them and just all around great read.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves hot men, paranormal love stories, wolf shifters, hot sex, and a bit of twist and turns. I love how each of her books have some similarities but they have their differences that will make you smile and laugh. I can never get enough of Charlie’s stories. I also can’t wait for the next book of this series to come out.

Review: I have always loved Charlie Richards’ stories, but this book made me remember why. Most of the time her stories come off humorous and a bit quirky, and this book holds true to form. This story line and plot always keep me thinking, what’s gonna happen next. I could not put the story down and till I read the whole book.

I loved that Sebastian tries to always follow the rules of the council, but meeting his mate, a very human mate made it entirely different. At first, Dirk’s misgivings about Sebastian puts in a little crimp into Seb’s plan. But once he comes to realize his mistake, the gloves are off. They are so caring with each other, and the sex is very hot. Dirk’s fear of shape-shifters, has him fearing all paranormal. But, the way Sebastian treats him, makes his heart pound and his palms sweat. I loved the tenderness Sebastian shows Dirk.

This is a type of story, that you would just want to sit down in front of a fireplace holding your book, sipping wine, and relaxing. It has its humor and dangerous parts to the story. I love having this story and can’t wait to re-read it over and over again.

Review: This was the first book of the series I’ve ever read. Yes, I know it’s the thirteenth book but I like sexy tattooed shifters. I think I may have missed some of the back story that endeared me to the packs but followed along fine.  So you could read this as a standalone.

Reb is on bodyguard duty in Ireland at a pack party when Daithe catches his eye. He’s obviously with someone else, but doesn’t look happy. Reb is feeling an attraction and need to claim he’s never felt before. The sexy human with another man is his mate.

Daithe has stayed with his boyfriend for way too long. He knows he’s just passing the time but he’s comfortable and his family doesn’t accept him so he stays with him. Until at a pack party one night, a sexy American shifter claims Daithe is his mate. He feels the strong attraction to the man, but he’s sworn off shifters. Daithe can’t deny the pull between the two of them and decides to get to know Reb. Problem is, something is out to get Reb before they can see where those feelings take them.

I enjoyed this book. It was short and sweet. The bad guy was obvious, but didn’t take away from the romance. Not a ton of world building but I guess that’s not really needed with a series this long. I like the other supernatural beings thrown in with the shifters and the set up for the next couple. I’m not always a fan of the insta-love mate thing, but the guys did try to get to know each other. I honestly don’t know that I’ll seek out more books in this series, but I did find another book by the author to try.
