Blurb: Sam Kindley has lived a rocky life. Being a hired gun for a local crime lord isn’t easy, but it pays well, so what’s a guy to do? Life is routine. The boss gives him a job and he completes it without incident.

Kidnapping Tyler Hanson and holding him for ransom seems like an easy enough task. But Sam never expected to be attracted to his mark. When sparks fly between them things become complicated. The heat sears and after a couple of hot encounters emotions quickly become involved.

Tyler Hanson never thought that he’d actually like his kidnapper, but his world is turned upside down in a moment of lust. Things are never what they seem, but maybe it’s all for the best. There’s much more to Sam than his rough and gruff exterior.
In a most unconventional scenario can love survive? Will Tyler?

Review: This is definitely the gritty side of Stockholm Syndrome. Standard rape fetish tags apply.

For the length, too much was stuffed into it at once. It wanted to be a political thriller, but it also wanted to be a porn shoot. Alas. It had already rented the studio for a day, tops, and gotten the guys’ clothes off by the time they decided to go with the thriller.

The constant perspective switching was jarring. Would have been more immersive if Day had picked one character’s PoV and stuck to it.

This said, I’d be interested in seeing Day’s future work after a proficient edit. Kudos for making me squirm with classic gay daddy issues re: “ugh, this guy’s an asshole… and so’s my dad.”

Blurb: First time meetings can lead to many things, but when you meet the one guy you’re automatically attracted to—the chemistry sizzles. Strangers or not, it doesn’t matter. It’s lust at first sight and anything’s game…

Shy and socially awkward Tyler has been watching the construction site across from his house secretly lusting for the hot guys that work there, but when he finally comes face to face with the hot and sexy Italian, Marco, it’s lust at first sight! Marco is everything Tyler has ever dreamed of in a man, and his complete opposite in every way possible.

Marco’s life is all about hard work. From the moment he left home just after high school, he’d forged his own way in the world without ever knowing real love. But when he meets the cute guy who lives across the street from his work, he instantly feels something sizzling between them. But, Marco isn’t out and not sure if he’s ready to tell the world he’s gay, or even his own family.
Both guys yearn for something more in life and after a couple rounds of hot sex, and another chance meeting, they come to see that possibly there is something more between them than just lust.

Review: Too short of a story for my taste, but it was cute as can be. I love how the story was told and how it came together. This is book two in this cute series. If you want something to read on your break then this would be the one to choose.

Tyler has lived in his home for over three years and didn’t really date much. Heck he was still a virgin but when the construction started going on, he could not help but watch the hot men who worked there. And it would seem that Marco liked watching him back. On one of Tyler’s normal walks to take sneak peeks at the guys, Marco approaches him. Then they come across each other at the club. One thing leads to another and things start heating up between them. Marco was still in the closet with his family and friends, but he didn’t hide it.

Like I said this is a really cute little story. I can see why sometimes one doesn’t come out to their family due to many different types of fears, but I love how Marco doesn’t want to hide it any more. I also love how they see something in each other that they themselves seem to miss. I do wish that this story just kept on going though. It would make for a really good book to read one afternoon when you need a pick me up.

Blurb: Jay Harnett’s predictable world is knocked upside down when he encounters the new school teacher, Will, in town. As their unlikely friendship blossoms, it turns to lust, love, and a whole lot more, surprising them both.

But when Will’s old flame suddenly leaps into the picture a decision must be made that will change all those involved.

Review: William Jon has fled the city to start a new life after being dumped for a woman.   Jay Harnett is a hand at the Buckshot Ranch and has always kept his sexuality a secret.   Meeting Will causes him to be a bit more daring.

This was a cute read with lots of sex but not much plot.  We get to know a little about each character’s past and what led them to the little town in Montana. We don’t get a real feel for the characters though.   They fall in love much too soon for the storyline and for such a short book there is plenty of sex and a little bit of bed hopping. I can fully understand Jay’s view of denying everything; especially in the year this is set.   And it makes you feel sorry for the two MCs that their entire lives are going to be hiding and whatever snatched moments that they can grab.

I would recommend this to those who like hot cowboys, sexy school teachers, hot sex and a HEA for 1886.
