Blurb: Declan Bordeaux is the President of the United States’ gay, closeted son. Forced to stay in the closet due to his father’s political career, Declan is unhappy with his life. When his Secret Service detail,

Agent Grant Dwyer who also harbors secret feelings for Declan, pushes him too hard with his mandated schedule, Declan flees for an extended vacation in New York. Debauchery on his mind, Declan is all too eager to start meeting guys, and is ecstatic when Jefferson, an older, mysterious stranger shows interest in him. After hitting it off, Declan goes back with the older man to Jefferson’s place, where he discovers that Jefferson is not what he seems. Jefferson is actually a terrorist and an anti-President Bordeaux opponent. He plans on outing Declan to humiliate the President’s legacy.

Declan’s only hope is for Agent Dwyer to rescue him—but how can he expect a rescue when Agent Dwyer doesn’t even know he’s been kidnapped?

Review: This story is essentially just an erotic romp between characters, with a little twist thrown in. Due to the length and the fact a probably about half of the book is actual sex scenes, there isn’t a hell of a lot of plot, so basically what you read in the blurb is what you get in the book. I like both Declan and Grant as characters, but Grant seemed slightly robotic to me and I also would have liked to more about Grant too because he is likable.

Another point is that I read this book without reading all of the blurb (I know, I’m odd), so I missed the part about Jefferson and because of that I feel I received the book a lot better than I would have if I had read the book and got one good plot twist given away to me.

If you want a good, hot read and don’t want to read too much into plot and motives, this is a good option.
