Review: Running away from his village was the only option for Alec. He meets Lucien and the two form a bond of sorts. I liked this story a lot but at the same time there were gaps in the timeline. But that was o.k. as I still understood what was happening.

Lucien’s past was painful to read. I wanted to know what all happened to his first mate and child, though it was never clear. Alec had his thinking changed regarding dragons as he adjusted to life with Lucien.

Danger comes in the form of an extremist group who will stop at nothing to eradicate Lucien and his dragons. I loved the story. Full of romance, action and drama this story takes hold and does not let go until the end.

I’m looking forward to reading the next in the series.
