Review: Dennis is an artist and just turned twenty-five. In the past year, he has been diagnosed with Lupus and MCTD. His best friend and lover of seven years has taken off and left him with almost nothing. Dennis is now to the point where he has to choose food or medicine. Tired of it all he decides to drown himself on the cold Jersey shore. He is almost gone when Luca a thirty-four year old business owner sees Dennis and saves him.

From the moment Luca find Dennis, he wants to take care of him and protect him.

This relationship was instant. Luca saw what he wanted in Dennis and set out to get it from the start. He is a very take-charge kind of man. Dennis tries to fight it, but part of the problem for him was Luca made him feel safe and cared for. Luca sets out to prove that he will help Dennis anyway, he can. He is dominate, but patient with Dennis and does not push to move the relationship ahead right away. The biggest thing in the start was to get Dennis healthy. During this time, the two men have come to know one another and start falling in love.

This was a sweet read. It was about two men falling in love and taking care of each other, in sickness and health. There are a few sex scenes and they are descriptive, but not the focus of the story. Dennis is a man who thinks he has nothing left to live for. Luca proves to him that he has everything and is worthy of love and happiness. Throughout the story Luca and Dennis show what love should be.
