The Library

(an Opposites series Novella)
by

T.M. Smith

Three gay couples run amuck in this short story where clothing, beds, even four walls are all optional!Want to know what happened that night in the library?

Cirian and Rian had a fight in the library and Rian ends up naked on the desk, on his back, at Cirian’s mercy.

Want to know how far things went with ice cream?

A romantic evening by the fire feeding his husband ice cream leads to a lot more than heavy petting for Aiyan and Kaden.

Want to know what was going on when those birds fled?

Travelling hundreds of miles, battling the rebels and then travelling back to House Gaeland will take it out of you. But when Tanis wants something, he takes it. Raven is about to be bent over a tree!

A Note from the Author: I’ve taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give readers a chance to know them and their inner workings better.

**Warning, The Library is a novella set in the same world as Opposites. It’s an adult dystopian M/M novella that includes consenting and explicit sexual relationships between gay couples**

 About T.M.

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

At 42 years young, she’s decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Smith is and outspoken advocate for Autism and equal rights for the LGBTQ community.

Her Opposites series is based outside the normal parameters of social acceptability, examining a ‘what if’… What If to be gay or lesbian were the norm? What if to be straight labeled you as an Opposite and made YOU the Outkast?

Review: This book is part of a series and must be read in order. The Library is a short collection of scenes taken right out of Opposites and expanded on for those of us who are complete pervs and wanted more hot sex 😉 We are also treated with scenes from when Cirian and Rian were first matched and married and we see the driving passion between the two. Nothing about the three couples is left to the imagination and we are swept away in the wake of their passion as they celebrate their love, even in the harshest of times.
.
*Wipes brow and loosens collar* Things are about to get steamy as we revisit the world of Opposites and finally get to see those scenes that were denied us by the evil author when she had to pare down the word count. We flit from couple to couple as we crash into intimate scenes and let our voyeuristic tendencies go wild, and while each scene is steaming hot there is always a thread of love leading the passion between each couple.
.
Our first couple are Cirian and Rian, Aiyan’s fathers, and we are treated to glimpses of their past and relationship, and the passion that still drives them… we also get to see that overheard scene in the library, and the conclusion to their argument is explosive! We then see Aiyan and Kaden and ice-cream, and boy do they put that ice-cream to good use; that scene is so hot they were lucky it didn’t evaporate! We are given the treat of Raven and Tanis as they stop on their way back from their part in the rescue of Kaden, with Raven’s guilt for killing a man tearing him apart Tanis makes it clear how thankful he is for Raven’s actions.
.
There are also a couple of scenes that gives you glimpses of things behind the scenes that we never saw in Opposites, the increasing unrest in the Outkasts and the friendships spanning back years. This is a great short giving us plenty of options of seeing how loving, passionate and sexy these couples can be, you never know who will be in the next chapter or what explicit hot horny sexual experience we will see next… but it is worthy every second. If you are planning on grabbing this book for all the horny goodness then you have to read Opposites first otherwise you won’t know the characters or their relation to each other or in what context the scene is set.
.
I recommend this to those who love hot and sexy scenes, passionate couples, lots of loving, a deeper insight into some couples and some great settings.
