In the year 2081 our planet survived global warming of an apocalyptic scale. When the dust settled and the water receded Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few hundred survivors of GWI, started society anew. Review: This book takes us into the future after global warming causes the apocalypse. Dr. Smith (I love the play on the author’s name) has an idea to manipulate society. He uses DNA to ensure all male are born gay all females born lesbians and breeding and coupling is done by matches. Aiya and Aiyan are prepared to meet their matches and prepare to take over their ruling houses. Sparks fly between Aiyan and Kaden and it is clear they are a perfect soulmate match. But will Aiya’s match be as simple? Can years of research and a perfect new world be unraveling?
There is a lot going on in this book. I love this take on that topic. No Zombies, just our world rebuilt.
We meet Aiya and Aiyan as well as their parents. The world is set up for us. We meet each of their matches from their ruling houses. I could easily see more books from this one as the stories of each set of parents were interesting, and the romance building between Taris and Raven extremely hot and intriguing. I can only hope!
I’ll admit at times it was a little confusing for me. The story has a very sci-fi feel to me with the names of the characters and houses. But when you get into it you can see its set on earth after the apocalypse. The story being called opposites, I figured it would be centered on the opposites and Aiya yet I felt Aiyan and Kaden were the main characters. Now having said that, it’s not a bad thing. These guys are smoking hot.
If you are looking for something different, like new adult dystopian, mm…ff…mf stories, a new world concept, and some extremely hot man-sex this is definitely for you

A Note from the Author: I’ve taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give readers a chance to know them and their inner workings better.

Review: Have you ever read a book and wanted more from certain scenes or wondered if something delicious had been cut?
The Library is a lovely compilation of three scenes from a great story and lets us in behind the scenes and fills us in on some stuff we may have missed or wondered about. And I must say wow they are smoking hot. I will never think of ice-cream the same again.
I also loved how we got more insight on the Cirian and Rian (two of the fathers) I loved those two a lot and loved seeing how they met. I loved being let in on the memories and more details of the characters. This also helped me clear up a few questions I had with the previous stories.
I thought this was a unique treat to see behind the scenes.
If you love a good dystopian world, MM and FF romances, the story Opposites, hot man-sex and ice-cream this is for you.

Appearances is book two of the Opposites Series and should be read in order. One thing I truly loved about this book was the dictionary in the front with the explanations of the houses, some of the words and in the back there are more explanations. It made the reading so much easier to follow knowing exactly where things were taking place.
The story starts out with some really hot sex between Kaden and Aiyan. These two men can really set a page on fire. They are preparing to go to each other’s spouses’ homeland to celebrate the pairings and weddings. Aiya, Maive, Sawyer, along with some of the parents, and Raven and Tanis will go to Greece. Aiya finds out she is pregnant and this will cause her secret to come out.
In Greece, Raven finds out that the rumors about Tanis’ playboy past is true and he feels he isn’t good enough for Tanis.
Aiyan and Kaden will go to Kaden’s home. Here we get some smoking hot sex!
As you can see there is a lot going on in this book. As well as all this, Cillian is still out to get his revenge. There is major hot sex with some of the dads. There are lots of action, suspense as well as all the hot man-sex.
I love Tanis and Raven. There is some sex with these guys that you need a fire hydrant to put out the flames. I thought the makeup sex was the best ever. Whew! I needed to turn on the fan among other things *blushes* T.M can really do the hot man-sex!
The only problem I had with the book is there is a little too much going on and it got overwhelming at times.
Still it is a very good read if you like dystopian settings, lots of drama and suspense and some smoking man-sex with one heck of a surprise ending this is for you!

Review: If you haven’t read the first two books Opposites and Appearances, I suggest you wait on this until you do unless you don’t mind spoilers. This is another cute compilation of a few behind the scenes. Taryn and Thanos are two hot fathers. We got a glimpse and hear hints of the story of how Taryn’s mother gave in and let them marry…here we get no holds barred details…and man are they smoking!
What would an opposite book be without at least a peak of the hotties Aiyan and Kaden? We get another peek at them and their sexy hijinks with Aiyan showing Kaden what mistletoe is. OH MY! These men tear down the house with their sexiness…literally.
The end gets a little more melancholy with choosing a new guard and I nearly cried remembering why. This section is a bit sad.
There is so many diverse characters, lots going on in such a short book but it never overwhelmed me. I will say it’s very fast paced and before ya know it…it’s over. Kaden and Aiyan made me want to go furniture shopping.
If you like Opposites and Appearances, (or don’t mind spoilers) New Adult Dystopian, A fast paced read in one sitting book and very hot man-sex this is for you.
