Review: Felix is a Wish Augur, part elf and part fae, he grants the wishes of those in need around the Holidays. It’s Christmas Eve and a lonely young man wishes for the simplest thing, a hug. Far be it from Felix to deny such a simple request, so he grants the wish, and so much more.

Gabriel Juarez lives a life unfulfilled. He hates his job and he’s single and alone at Christmas. He cries himself to sleep only to wake up Christmas morning wrapped in a warm embrace. Once Gabe gets over the shock of finding a wiry, blonde, doe eyed elf in his bed, the two share a special Christmas filled with uncertainty, awkwardness, and confessions. They learn that though they may different people from different worlds, they are very alike and both very lonely. Perhaps, Gabe is meant to fill Felix’s wish for a companion, after all it really doesn’t seem they met by chance.

What an adorable little story! At the start I wasn’t sure where it was going, Gabe was so miserable and unhappy and utterly alone. But when he woke in Felix’s arms, it really set the stage for them going forward. A cute, fluffy story with two characters that are so alone and sad in their separate lives, but together they fill the void each one is missing.

If you are looking for something short, sweet, and enchanting with a Christmas theme, then look no further.
