Blurb: In the middle of a training trip, Keeska’s shuttle navigation fails and strands Keeska on Earth—alone, no way to contact home, and with no chance of help from the locals…until one does.

When Eric starts leaving food in front of an abandoned storefront in the crappy strip mall by his house, he thought he was helping a dog or a homeless kid. He gets the shock of his life when he discovers an alien instead. Not sure what else to do, especially with the alien bleeding and in shock, Eric realizes he’s about to have an unusual houseguest.

But as Keeska’s health improves, they both forget that Keeska should probably be finding a way home. As they grow increasingly close, they are forced to figure out the answers to questions they never thought would have to be asked…

Review: Eric shows how kind he is when he leaves food outside for what he thinks is a stray animal. When he discovers an alien named Keesha hurt and bleeding he takes him home to help care for him. The two form a bond and grow from there.

I liked both characters a lot. Even though they where different they were both sweet. These two were made for each other in every way.

Good read.

Eran’s been burned before—by family and more, enough to make him jump at shadows and avoid intimacy. But Paul is determined, and with the help of counselors, classes, and an unexpected modeling gig, Eran might just find that taking a risk on what scares him the most, has a worthy payoff.

Blurb: .All Solae wants is to be accepted and loved by the family that has always rejected him. But given it was his late mother who cursed the kingdom to eternal winter, the chances of that happening are minimal. If he can find a way to break the curse, however, surely that would be enough to change their minds regarding him.

But Solae is forbidden to practice magic because of his mother, which limits his ability to pursue solutions. Desperate for advice and new ideas, he contacts a famous curse breaker—and has no idea what to do when the man unexpectedly shows up, handsome and friendly and dangerously intriguing.

Shorty’s Review: 💖💖💖💖 3 3/4 Hearts

I loved Solae. I felt he was born into a family that did not care anything for him and treated him wrong. A rescuer in the name of Millio comes to save him from said family.

The story was short but good. The only gripe I have is that the people doing Solae wrong never paid for their misdeeds against him and that pissed me off.

Other than it as a really good read.

Pixie’s Review: 💖💖💖💖 4 Hearts

This story is a great version of the Snow White fairytale. Solae is the son of the ‘evil’ witch and the King, after the King is convinced by others that his new Queen is an evil witch he has her killed and she curses the Kingdom, Solae is left behind to bear the brunt of hate when the Kingdom falls into an endless winter.

Millio is a magic user who has secrets of his own but when he is contacted by Solae about his Kingdom’s curse he travels to the Kingdom to help out, but what he discovers is a sweet gentle prince who is despised because of his fathers vanity.

I enjoyed this story immensely and cheered for Solae and Millio as they got to know each other, the treatment that the pair receive makes you gnash your teeth at the injustice done to the both of them and you really do hope that rather than break the curse that they leave it in place for all the petty minded people in the Kingdom.

You’ll enjoy this if you love old fairytales with a new twist, characters who overcome those around them, and a great ending.

Review: A story about a company in trouble with the law but hiding the truth. They set up a worker to take the fall. Regin is the worker that is set up. What he does not expect is for the man he loves to be one of his interrogators.

Makari knows Regin is innocent. He has spent a long time searching for Regin since the accident that affected them both. Deceptions and lies separated them until now. But now they have to find the person threatening the station they are on and saving all from certain death.

I loved everything about this story. A good plot with amazing characters made the story come alive. Along with suspenseful moments and tense scenes that had me captivated from beginning to end.

Fantastic read.

Given he’s usually left to train himself in Finding magic and do his master’s job, that’s probably not happening anytime soon.

Watching the shop one day while his master is out drinking yet again, Tolan gets an unexpected client: a child barely old enough to walk, screaming that Tolan ‘find secret’, and who clings to Tolan like he’s all that’s left in the world.

But finding secret proves to be a far greater task than Tolan ever could have guessed and leads him right into the arms of a man, and a life, that he never dared hope to find.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: Tolan is unhappy with his life thus far. Having a master  who prefer’s Tolan do all the work while he drinks is a heavy burden. One day Goss, a small child enters the shop and tells Tolan to find secret. It’s easier said than done but when he finds what he’s looking for his life changes for the better.

I liked all the characters. Tolan seemed a bit on the whinny side at times but some characters are like that. Shaw was exactly what Tolan needed in his life to find happiness. Goss was a cute little guy that I adored.

All in all it was an enjoyable read.

Review: Interesting story about criminals who are sent out into the prairie, that is a sentient being, to try and build a community. But alas it’s not as simple as it appears.

The people have to contend with Mesic the being who was once human but turned during a magical war. Not to mention the corruption of those in government in Ammet with plans to do away with the criminals and take the villages for themselves.

But, there is Russ, a man wrongfully accused and ousted by his brother who has a plan to stop Ammet in it’s tracks if all goes according to plan.

A great story with a lot of secrecy and planning.

Great read.

As the story progresses we learn about Blue’s past and Rin’s Fae heritage though Rin does not meet his father until the end. There are forces at work to unseat the king in the fae world but again this is not gone into at length just it and pieces here and there.

These people are called the Estranged, hunted and shunned, safe only on the Island of Exile. It is here that Kaeva and Eddie meet—and where they set a prophecy in motion, quite possibly sealing their own demise, and even the end of Exile.

Review: Wow. Grim is the president of the Harbinger MC’s. When he is informed of a problem with a shipment he goes to investigate and finds his husband, (who chose another over him years before), on deaths door and were pups blood-bonded to him. Griffin had his reasons for doing what he did years before and it had nothing to do with wanting another.

The reasoning was heart-breaking as well as distasteful on the part of the warlock who wanted more power by any means necessary. There is a whole cast of characters that were both intriguing and terrifying. I loved the plot of the good versus the bad. The way the story played out was fantastic as each had a role to play. The different beings were a plus for me as usually there are only one or two in a story. That is not the case here.

So to say this is a good read is an understatement. It had angst, celestial beings, weres, action, drama, mystery and romance. Great read that I highly enjoyed.

I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Blurb: Everyone expects Renart Walker to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become the cobbler for their little demon-ruled town. That’d be the proper thing to do: keep his head down, live his quiet human life, and try not to get too involved with demons. But Renart has never been terribly concerned with proper, and he isn’t interested in a quiet life. His interests are a little more ambitious: he’s aiming to catch himself a demon prince.

As a human, he’d never be allowed to even get close to Prince Hrahez. The only solution is to make a bargain with a demon, and everyone knows what they want. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and he’s got a plan—but it involves tricking a demon. If it doesn’t work, nobody in town would want to be in his shoes.

Review: Renart knows what he wants, a demon prince, and so hatches a plan to snag him one. Humans are nothing but slaves and cattle to the demons. There to do their bidding and nothing more in the small town. Renart is expected to follow in his mother’s footsteps but he rebels and goes on his path.

There was not enough of the actual relationship between Renart and the prince beyond sex for me to call them a couple. It seemed that sex was the main thing in this story and I personally like stories with less sex and more actual plot. Plus there is a m/f scene in it as well which I did not like, it doesn’t take away from the story but it just wasn’t to my preference.

I liked the idea of this story but due to the many sex scenes the actual story seemed a little lost in the background.

It’s been months since anyone at the Committee has had any contact from the O’Connell family or their pack members, and they are not happy. Suspicious of the activities that took place in D.C. and determined to find out what the wolves are up to, the Committee recruits one of their newest residents, Doctor Matthew Dietrich, to play the part of neighbor and infiltrate the family.

Though idealistic and optimistic, he prefers to work in solitude, at night, while he researches the findings that he hopes will one day change the world. When he’s approached by the executives of the Center, he has no idea why they’d choose him. And to say he is skeptical over the concept of men that can shift into wolves would be an understatement. Review: Each book in the Supernatural Consultant collection features our sexy men and a bunch of kits. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by this amazing author. My attention was caught with the first sentence and I just couldn’t put the book down. This is one of those types that even after you have read the whole book you just want to go back and read it again.

I didn’t really like the five year jump from the first book to this book. If they are so worried about dragon’s being abducted then the five year jump makes what they are doing a waste. I really wished the author had thought of that part of this book though.

Mercury and Dane are settling in nicely with their family and the kits are growing up pretty fast. Although Lumie and Alloy still act the same pretty much. Mercury is now working or the FBI in the supernatural division and is actually liking it quite a bit. He is about to do his first mission with a partner.

His mission is to find out who was copycatting what he had started many years before, and Dane’s new case is of a missing dragon family. Attacked by those very human’s that Mercury was trying to stop. This is a very unique series I got to say that.

I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Mell writes will be an automatic bye for me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series.

There is something about the way that Mell writes that will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it, especially if it involves Lumie and Alloy. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story.

This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Hot damn I have found a new author for me to love, although Mell Eight is not a new author in that sense but she is to me. I am so glad to have had a chance at reading these stories, because if the rest of the series is anything like this one, I will definitely be going broke.

The world that Mell Eight has created was unique and fascinating for me. It has a serious tone to it but with dragon kits around let’s just say you will also be laughing your ass off at some point in time. It is not really a long story, but there was so much depth to it that you won’t notice because you won’t be able to put the story down.

Dragons are very unique and I love reading about them. It is said that dragons are loners until they mate. Once their offspring is able to survive on its own, the adult dragons take off so that the kit can find his or her own territory. So when our very special supernatural consultant was asked to get rid of some dangerous dragons he was shocked to find so many. Dane knew that the idiot who ordered him to do it was meaning arrest, but he decided to bring the adult male and 5 kits home with him. They were special kits.

Mercury was taken off the street and dropped off at a lab that was experimenting on dragon kits. What he had seen horrified him and he knew he had to rescue all that he could find. He just hadn’t expected to get dragon fever nor did he expect to wake up in a strange place. But at least Mercury and his kits were safe. Now they just had to find all of the others.

Amazing story and I can’t wait to get to reading the next book. I would have loved to smash those scientists and can’t wait to see what our sexy men and kits do in the next book.

Review: A wonderful tale about a prince who deceives the republic to free the desert dwellers once and for all. Dastyaf is a human warlord, personal protector of Amirzade Sharouk, the prince, and is tasked to work Nills to get the prince back from a powerful leviathan.

Dastyaf’s takes merman form to be able to track down the Leviathan and struggles to adapt to the new form. Nills and Dastyaf work together to find the creature and get the prince back.

Such an amazing journey for these two men who have to learn to tolerate each other at first then as the mystery of why the creature took the prince and the ongoing tracking they grow closer. The environment under the sea had an almost mystical quality to it and held me spellbound in its details.

I loved the entire book from start to finish.
