Blurb: The last thing Sebastian Zeller wants is to be pack Alpha. But when the pack leader, his uncle Ron, is attacked, he has no choice but to leave his beloved Colorado mountains and fulfill his duty as Ron’s heir—at least until his uncle recovers. In the meantime, he intends to lure the attacker out… and make them pay.

When Ron gets wind of Sebastian’s plan to catch the attacker, he doesn’t like the idea of risking his heir. That’s where Jaxon Reedis comes in—he’ll balance protecting the dark and sexy werewolf with pretending to be his personal assistant. He’s walking a fine line that requires all his foxy wit and craftiness… and that’s on top of the inescapable feeling that he and Sebastian are meant for each other. When the attacker returns, will they be able to maintain their deepening bond when danger threatens to tear down everything they’re building?

Review: Sebastian and his best friend Alan are trying to find out who hurt his alpha. Not only was Ron his alpha but his uncle, the one man who raised him. He was not a hunter however but a designer, although he can and does kick ass. To bad his uncle knows him pretty good, because it would seem he has a feisty and very sexy fox to keep an eye on him. Although the sexy man says he is his personal assistant, but somehow Sebastian has figured it out. For one he has never seen a personal assistant shoot like this one does.

Jaxon was trained to be a personal assistant, cook, butler and the job he truly does, bodyguard. And what a body to guard, damn sexy. Now if he can just figure out what Ron is hiding from them all.

This story is full of excitement, adventure, danger and some pretty hot times for them all. I have not had a chance to read many books by this author but after reading this I will definitely be looking for more. I got a big kick out of the characters and the fact that there is a wolf pack, fox, big cats and lets not forget Ty who just so happens to be elk. Mixture of prey and predators is pretty unique and fun.

Now it is action packed, but there seemed to be a bit more in the story then is needed, not to mention the fox. He is the bodyguard and he shoots like one, but doesn’t really come off as one to me. There were only a handful of times it came out, mostly just fun times. The mix just seemed a bit off to me. Although that is my only issues with this book, because lets face it, this story rocks.

This is one story I would definitely recommend.
