Review: This story has been previously released as part of the Stand to Attention anthology by Totally Bound Publishing. It is a wonderful
story about two men who find love together. It shows me some of the bad that the military does to not only their soldiers but to the officers. They had a leak in the Medical Corps that had to be found out. Whether it was needed or not, there are other ways to get help for people.
Patrick was a Captain in the army but he had been turned down for promotion to Major several times over. So when his superior officer tells him that there might be away around it he took the chance. He was to gather information on a Captain in the Medical Corp. However when he meets Craig he senses that this is not the man who the army thought he was. He was honest, sincere and would follow all rules and regulations no matter what.
Craig fell for Patrick after the first weekend together. He wanted to see more of Patrick but when his ex comes to him with information on him, he freaks out. His ex tells him that Patrick is not there because he wants him but wants to know if he was the one leaking information. He confronts Patrick and then ends all ties to the man.
Patrick didn’t know how to prove to Craig that he did indeed want him and that it was for life. It tears your heart up to know that these two men are in pain but you feel for Patrick because he was doing his job but in truth he was trying to show that Craig was not the traitor. This story does have an ending that made me smile. I do wish that they had shown more story with the ending of it. However, I did love it. It is amazing the love you can feel that each man can have if given the time. It also shows the vengeful exes do everything to get back at someone. If you love men in uniform than this book, you will want to read. It has sexy men that will draw you in and make you fall in love with.
