Blurb: Before jumping into his first semester of college, Thomas Maloney decides to lose his virginity at a party to a stranger he’s sure he’ll never see again. Only the next day, he’s surprised to learn the same one-night stand will be sharing his dorm room. Thomas considers himself lucky, but his new roommate—not so much.

Closeted as they come, football jock Remington “Rem” Daniels is on track for a shot at the pros. Rem tries to play it cool and avoid falling for the confidently gay Thomas, which could hurt his chances. Dealing with their constant need to get in bed together wouldn’t be so hard if Rem didn’t have a girlfriend and Thomas didn’t have a conscience.

When she delivers news that will change Rem’s life forever, Thomas knows it’s time to move back home to Thornwood, Colorado. But neither the distance nor knowing Rem belongs to someone else helps Thomas get over him. Rem’s feelings haven’t changed either. When it comes down to love or football, Rem will have to make the hardest choice of his life and hope Thomas will still be waiting for him when he does.

Review: I came across Caitlin when she put out her first story and was fascinated by the worlds she created. At the time I had decided to keep an eye out for her stories so that I could grab them up. This story was fascinating to read and I absolutely loved the characters, however it had the one thing in it that, for me brings the ratings and the story down. I do not like cheating of any kind and can’t stand to read it. However that is my fault for not looking at the blurb for the book. Other than that issue, which is my issue the story was damn good

Tom had listened to his friends about losing his virginity. They had suggested going to a party and hooking up. The problem with this was that it turned out that the one he gave it to just happens to be his roommate. His very sexy roommate who just happened to have a girlfriend.

Rem is an ass and I am afraid my opinion of him will stay the same. He not only had Tom, but a girlfriend on the side. One he intended not to tell. Hell, he didn’t even love the girl. But, everything changes for them all when she gets pregnant. Hello?  Where were the condoms? I mean use a brain.

This story takes place over a few years and it will tear your heart up with all that is going on. I mean, I hate to say it, but Rem is a loser and I absolutely wanted to just drop kick him off the cliff. However there is also a side to him that is endearing, also. I was glad for the happy ending, but it didn’t really end the way I wished it had. It just seemed to be missing something to me.

Overall the story was a fascinating read.
